University Humanities Education And Human Liberation

The university humanities education and human liberation concerns the integrity of human nature,and pays attention to the cultivation of the whole person as well as human freedom and accessible,both of which are for the wholeness of human nature,the independence of personality and the publicity of individuality,and the full and comprehensive development of human beings.University humanities education and human liberation is a kind of transcendence of university education itself,a transcendence of people and universities of a philosophical thinking of human and the transcendence of universities,and a practice of university education.The fundamental mission of the university is to cultivate people----to make people become more intelligent,more reasonable and sound for the purpose of human liberation,which needs the vigorous strengthening of university humanities education and the restart of the value of humanities education in the university.The university humanities education is aimed at human liberation,that is,to make people continue to move toward freedom,and continue to maintain and develop freedom.Human liberation is a process,during which human freedom is constantly leaping.Thus,human liberation is also for the maintenance and development of freedom,so as to promote the full and free development of human beings.In order to achieve the purpose of the liberation of human beings,we must rely on the university humanities education.However,with the introduction and strengthening of modern scienceand technology and science education in universities,humanities education has been squeezed by science education.Professionalism,vocationalism,pragmatism and utilitarianism are also disseminated to the whole university education.Humanities education is stuck in trouble,such as the exclusion of utilitarianism,the marginalization of humanities,the falling status of humanities curriculum,the rationality of tools,the narrow concept of utilitarian education,the imbalance of humanities education and science education,and the neglecting of people's freedom in university.As a result,the humanities education has lost its original status,which brings obstacles to the university goal of discovering people,making people and liberating people.The solution to human liberation is humanities education,which can free people from ignorance and incompetence,help people go beyond utility and desire,and thus promote people move toward liberation.The liberation of people means that it is necessary to get rid of the bondage and repression,to go beyond utility and desire,to be freed from all kinds of old shackles,to prevent the erosion of scientism and various restrictions on human beings,and to prevent utilitarian and materialistic tendencies.Human liberation also means the necessity to promote the full display and development of human potential so as to achieve material liberation,physical liberation and more importantly,spiritual liberation,which is of a deeper level and thus represents the true meaning of human liberation.As the effective approach to human liberation,university humanities education needs to be strengthened from the aspects of the system,the concept,the idea and the educational practice.In order to better demonstrate the sacredness of university education,to highlight the spirituality of university education,to display the wisdom of university education,so that the life of the university is more dynamic,the university,as an academic organization,is bound to need to highlight the university humanities education for the purpose of realization of human liberation.Therefore,it is necessary to think and judge the university humanities education and human liberation.
