A Survey Of Participation In Research Of Academic Postgruduate Students

Challenges of economic globalization makes countries gradually transform to the new development model based on the knowledge economy,paying more attention on the development of innovative scientific research ability.Colleges and universities are the core of the national scientific and technological innovation,graduate students are also the important force of contribution to the scientific research findings at colleges and universities.Graduate student research is not only directly related to the level of scientific research quality and innovation,but also affect the entire national independent innovation,science and technology research and development ability.This paper analyzes the present situation and influencing factors of participation of W graduate student research by using literature research method,investigation method and case study method.This paper analyzes the present situation and influencing factors of participation of W graduate student from papers,research projects,conferences,writing books,creating patent and so on;next this paper analyzes the present situation of W school graduate students'difference analysis on personal information and the relationship between the present situation and the influencing factors.Based on the investigation of the present situation of graduate students in W school,this paper analyzes the problems of their scientific research participation and probes into the scientific suggestions for improving the participation of graduate students in scientific research.According to the survey:The quality of graduate students participation in research is not good;Participation in research have significant differences in gender,profession,grade,birthplace,entrance way,work experience,marriage;Most of the students have a positive attitude on scientific research,and the internal factors can influence more than the external factors an on scientific research;External conditions on the participation of research are in the middle level,the guidance of teacher is the best of them;In the external factors,the institutional environment is the most important factor,and in the internal factors,the willingness to engage in scientific research in the future is the most important factor;The main problems of W graduate student in participating research are as following:First,the relevant institutions of colleges is not perfect and the research's atmosphere is not ideal;Second,the graduate students own low quality and they are reluctant to engage in scientific research work in the future;third,the guidance of tutors is not enough and the time structure is unreasonable.this paper summed up we should improve the degree of participation of Postgraduates from three aspects:first,we should create a scientific research atmosphere,and improve the management of mechanism.Colleges and universities should improve the incentive mechanism of scientific research,create a positive atmosphere for scientific research and increase support for scientific research resources;Second:we should strengthen the responsibility of teachers and teachers should provide opportunities and support for students.Teachers should improve their own scientific research quality and ability,improve the degree of emphasis on graduate education,and let graduate students take more responsibility for the opportunity;Third:we should strengthen independent learning and improve the quality of scientific research.Graduate students should establish a correct attitude towards scientific research,actively participate in scientific research activities,strengthen independent learning,improve their comprehensive quality,stimulate internal motivation and improve scientific research consciousness...
