Research On Attribute Evaluation Of Engineering Graduate In Beijing Universities Based On Washington Agreement

China's successful accession to the Washington Agreement represents that China's higher engineering education certification work has been recognized by international counterparts.It is not only conducive to promoting the training of engineers in accordance with international standards,improving the quality of engineering and technical personnel training,but also effectively promoting the cross-border flow of Engineering talents.In the field of professional certification of Engineering graduates,although the Washington Agreement puts forward corresponding evaluation requirements for the quality of graduates,this index is an international general quality evaluation framework,lacking of evaluation indicators with national characteristics.Based on Beijing and serving the development of Beijing,taking Beijing University of Technology as an example,what is the quality status of engineering graduates who have been certified as major? What are the expectations of enterprises for engineering graduates who have passed the certification? And how to improve the quality of engineering graduates are urgent issues to be studied.On this basis,this study mainly includes the following contents:Firstly,on the basis of literature and interviews,with the help of competency attributes theory,the initial evaluation index system of Engineering graduates' attributes in Beijing affiliated universities is compiled.Secondly,eight engineering graduates of Beijing University of Technology who have passed the professional certification are investigated and questionnaires are sent out.Through exploratory factor analysis,reliability and validity test of collected data,and using analytic hierarchy process to calculate the weight of evaluation indicators,the attributes evaluation index system of engineering graduates in Beijing affiliated universities is finally determined.Thirdly,with the help of the evaluation index system of Engineering graduates' attributes in Beijing affiliated universities,the students who had received the questionnaire survey in the earlier period were sent out again to measure the attainment degree of Engineering graduates' attributes in Beijing affiliated universities.Through the analysis of achievement data and case interviews,this paper evaluates the current situation and problems of Engineering graduates' attributes in Beijing affiliated universities.Finally,on the basis of evaluating the current situation and problems of the attributes of engineering graduates in Beijing affiliated universities,the improvement measures are put forward.
