The advent of the digital era has promoted the reform and diversification of teaching forms,which has laid a good material foundation for the development of maker education.Rooted in the Maker Movement,Makerspace is the main platform for Maker education.From the perspective of the development process of China's university maker space,the construction of China's university maker space is in the initial stage of development,and the number of university makers is constantly increasing.However,there are a lot of problems faced by university maker space,such as mainly in developed cities like Beijing and Shanghai,competition-oriented,low utilization rate of equipment,lack of professional teachers and mismatch of maker courses.How to combine the discipline development and specialty characteristics of the university,make use of the local resource advantages,cooperate with the government and enterprises to build the university's own maker space,and ensure its effective operation is the subject we need to solve.Considering the quantity and quality of maker space,this paper takes the makerspace alliance of American universities as the reference object,based on literature review?network investigation and case analysis,this paper studied the Higher Education Makerspace Initiative(HEMI)and summarized the components and operating mechanism of makerspace in American colleges and universities,so as to put forward constructive Suggestions on the construction of makerspace in Chinese colleges and universities.This paper has five parts.The first part of the thesis discusses the value orientation of Chinese university makerspace,China has entered the era of mass entrepreneurship and innovation.Innovation and entrepreneurship has become a national strategy,which is of great strategic significance for promoting China's economic restructuring and enhancing its international competitiveness.in such a specific context,maker space in colleges and universities has unique value,that is,industrial innovation value of maker space in colleges and universities,subject integration value of maker space in colleges and universities,social and cultural value of maker space in colleges and universities,and educational standard value of maker space in colleges and universities.The second part discusses the progress and basic resources of makerspace in HEMI colleges and universities in the United States,introduces the indemnificatory policy resources of makerspace in HEMI union from the perspective of policy support,and summarizes the transactional human resources of makerspace in HEMI union colleges and universities from the perspective of members and daily management of HEMI makerspace alliance in the United States.From the basic situation of makerspace,the service object of makerspace and the running form of makerspace,the conditional resources of makerspace in HEMI union universities were summarized.The third part summarizes and studies the components of American HEMI university makerspace.Taking makercenter as the main body,it classifies the internal and external elements of makerspace and summarizes the internal and external components of college makerspace.The internal components are from the internal space construction as the central consideration,and mainly survey and summarize the makerspace venue,makerspace equipment,makerspace team,makerspace course,makerspace project and makercomprehensive training of HEMI university makerspace.External components are considered from the outside of maker space,focusing on the construction of achievement incubation platform of HEMI university and the form of school-enterprise cooperation.The fourth part of a guest HEMI colleges and universities in the United States space are discussed in this paper,the function mechanism of American colleges and universities and the guest room can get rapid development,cannot leave the policy support and the funds safeguard,and a member of the diversified team members and a wide range of teachers and students,in the concrete practice,both the corresponding courses,projects,there are security,use of comprehensive training,so that to have produced a series of achievements.Therefore,the operating mechanism of makerspace in HEMI universities in the United States is summarized as follows:policy guidance and funding guarantee mechanism,coordination mechanism between organizations and teachers and students,equipment management and safety training mechanism,course opening and effect implementation mechanism,quality evaluation and market feedback mechanism.The fifth part introduces the inspiration of the construction and operation of American HEMI college maker space.Starting from the achievements and problems of Chinese college maker space,the paper believes that the construction of Chinese college maker space should be explored and improved from the following aspects to give full play to the educational value of college maker space.First,the basic equipment should be added to improve the basic resources of college maker space.Second,develop maker curriculum and build maker education curriculum system;Third,cooperation in development projects to enrich service projects of college maker space;The fourth is to strengthen teacher training and improve the construction of teacher team of college maker space.Fifth,create maker culture and create a cultural atmosphere in the maker space of colleges and universities;Sixth,attach importance to product manufacturing and promote the achievement transformation of maker space in colleges and universities;Seventh,the evaluation mechanism of maker space in colleges and universities should be established by multiple evaluation.
