Alzheimer's disease, one of the four major killers of the elderly,is a neurological disease with unclear causes and clinical manifestations of cognitive impairment. The number of elderly people with Alzheimer's disease in China shows a trend of rapid growth year by year.Unfortunately, the medical community has not yet found effective drugs to treat Alzheimer's disease thoroughly. As elderly people with Alzheimer's gradually lose their ability to take care of themselves,long-term exposure to this irreversible disease will cause great stress on the families of the affected people. The idea of helping people in social work is to "help people help themselves" and provide professional services to individuals, families and groups in need in society.Social work under the guidance of professional values and ethics has an irreplaceable role in solving the difficulties and problems faced by elderly people with Alzheimer's disease and improving their ability to live.I understand the current situation, problems and needs of the lives of the elderly people with Alzheimer's disease through field investigations.Taking the case of Grandma L as an example,I aim to improve the ability of the elderly with Alzheimer's disease. From the four aspects of physiology, psychology, social relations, and economy, she intervened in the case work of her grandmother.According to the general process model of social work, she used nostalgia and other professional techniques to eventually improve her ability to live.According to the problems encountered in this process, corresponding policy suggestions are put forward in order to provide a feasible path for the realization of "old people, old people, old people, old people, old people, good people, old people".This article is divided into five chapters, the first chapter is the introduction part, the second chapter is the research basis, the third chapter is the goal and the plan plan, the fourth chapter is the intervention process, and the fifth chapter is the case and proposal.
