| VR technology refers to the creation of a virtual reality space which is highly similar to reality through computer policy technology,so that users can immerse in it.From the rise of VR technology to its wider application in the field of education nowadays,how to combine VR technology with teaching in various disciplines in the stage of basic education in China is a hot research topic.VR technology has been required to be used in the teaching process in the 2017 edition of the curriculum standard.The content of geography teaching in senior high school has the characteristics of time,space and region.The immersion,conception and interactive feedback of VR technology will enable students to use VR equipment in the virtual learning environment created during classroom learning,intuitively feel the geographical image of learning,and cultivate students’ learning ability.The interest in geographical knowledge,the ultimate learning and teaching effect has been significantly improved.Therefore,the research on the design and application of high school geography teaching based on VR technology can supplement the research on VR technology and geography teaching,and provide reference for the practice of high school geography classroom teaching.This paper is divided into six parts,starting from the development of VR technology,combined with the relevant research on the application of VR technology in the field of education,to analyze the drawbacks of traditional high school geography teaching.According to the characteristics of geography teaching theory and virtual reality technology,this paper explores the influence of high school geography teaching combined with VR technology on classroom teaching.Combining geography teaching theory,educational psychology theory,virtual reality theory and "Geography Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools"(2017)to design specific teaching cases of senior high school geography teaching content,this paper uses comparative method to illustrate the impact of VR technology on senior high school geography teaching through teaching practice.Based on VR technology in high school geography teaching,this paper draws the following basic conclusions: firstly,it is conducive to stimulate students’ interest in geography learning;secondly,it is conducive to cultivating students’ core qualities in geography;thirdly,it is conducive to enriching high school geography teaching theory. |
