Interactive whiteboard is the product of information technology.Under the call of "promoting the high integration of information and mathematics classroom",the application of interactive whiteboard in mathematics teaching has become the focus of attention.With the increasing investment in basic education in our country,interactive whiteboard has been installed in most areas of our country,and training for teachers has been carried out.How effective is the application of interactive whiteboard in middle school mathematics classroom,what problems exist,and how to improve are the problems that need to be considered and solved to promote the high integration of information and mathematics classroom.Although many teachers have the conditions to use interactive whiteboard in teaching practice,they will also use it appropriately according to the teaching needs,but the effect of using interactive whiteboard is unsatisfactory,and it has not really played the role of interactive whiteboard,making it a "magic weapon" in middle school mathematics classroom teaching.This paper attempts to understand the application and effect of interactive whiteboard in Cenxi municipal secondary schools through questionnaires,interviews and other ways,and puts forward the application strategies according to the current situation of application,in order to provide teaching reference for middle school mathematics teachers.This study first introduced the characteristics and functions of interactive whiteboard,then analyzed the characteristics of middle school mathematics and teaching characteristics,and further pointed out the advantages of interactive whiteboard in middle school mathematics teaching.Taking "Pythagorean Theorem" as an example,it presented the teaching cases of interactive whiteboard in middle school mathematics.However,through questionnaires and interviews,we can understand the current situation of the application of interactive whiteboard in mathematics teaching in the middle schools directly under Cenxi City.Finally,according to the current situation of the application of interactive whiteboard in mathematics teaching in Cenxi City’s directly affiliated middle schools,the application strategies are put forward.The results are as follows:First,the application of interactive whiteboard in middle school mathematics teaching can create a reasonable teaching situation and optimize the introduction of the classroom;it can promote more concrete abstract knowledge and break through the difficulties of teaching;it canhelp students break through their own thinking patterns and encourage students to make further innovations;it can improve the vividness of teaching content.Sex;can easily access teaching resources,promote the improvement of teaching efficiency;can promote interpersonal interaction to obtain further enrichment.Secondly,in the questionnaire survey,it is found that the interactive whiteboard used by mathematics teachers in the directly affiliated middle schools of Cenxi City has low frequency and single function.They do not have a thorough understanding of the characteristics and advantages of interactive whiteboard,but the overall attitude of using it is more objective.The use of interactive whiteboards has a positive effect on teaching and students’ learning,but it is different from person to person.Teachers need to grasp the scale of use and adjust the way of use.At the school level,it is necessary to strengthen the guidance of teachers,the development of training,the establishment of school-based resource bank,and the reflection and adjustment of application.Thirdly,taking "Pythagorean Theorem" as an example,the use of interactive whiteboard is ideal for breaking through the teaching focus and difficulties of this course,and it can also provide abundant historical materials of mathematics,enhance students’ understanding of Chinese mathematical culture and enhance cultural self-confidence.Fourthly,in order to further enhance the effectiveness of the application of interactive whiteboard in mathematics teaching in Cenxi middle schools,schools should pay attention to the guidance of teachers,change teachers’ cognition,strengthen the education and training of teachers,carry out hierarchical training mode,daily focus on the accumulation of effective interactive whiteboard teaching resources,select examples for demonstration and guidance;In order to use interactive whiteboard,teachers need to strengthen reflection and control teaching reasonably.
