The core literacy of ideological and political disciplines in the ideological and political curriculum standards published in 2017 mainly includes the four elements of political identity,scientific spirit,rule of law awareness and public participation.The public participation of Chinese citizens refers to a kind of social and political behavior that participates in public affairs in an orderly manner,assumes social responsibility,and actively exercises the political rights of the people to be the masters of the country.Public participation literacy is the ability to participate in public affairs through legal channels,express interest appeals,and influence the awareness,knowledge,and ability of public life and public decision-making.Public participation as an element in the core literacy of ideological and political disciplines,cultivating students' public participation literacy in ideological and political courses is conducive to the social development of students.Accumulate practical experience in participating in social public affairs.To help students understand the ways and methods of orderly participation in social public affairs and rules,in order to improve students' awareness,knowledge and ability to participate in public participation,so as to generate the sense of responsibility and mission of the people.To foster students' public participation in literacy,attention should be paid to the interaction between classroom teaching and social practice activities.However,as far as the current status of students' public participation is concerned,students' awareness of public participation is not strong enough,their relevant knowledge is not solid enough,and the ability of public participation is insufficient.In the process of teaching,teachers cultivate the quality of students' public participation.The teaching objectives do not reflect the cultivation of public participation quality,the theme of public affairs in the content of teaching is deviated from the actual situation of students,and the cultivation of public participation quality is lacking.The main reason is that the awareness of cultivating students' public participation in the teaching process is not strong enough,the influence of the classroom teaching mode and the lack of practice and space for teachers to give public participation.In cultivating students' public participation in ideological and political courses,teachers must first change the old teaching concept and improve their own public participation.Secondly,from the two aspects of classroom teaching and practical activities of ideological and political courses,the students' public participation should be cultivated.The teaching objectives should be targeted;the creation of teaching situations should be close to the actual life of students,and the design of teaching activities,especially the simulation activities,should be standardized to improve Students' public participation knowledge.Strengthen the social practice activities to increase the time for students to participate in public participation and expand the space for public participation,pay attention to the openness of the problem of practical inquiry,so as to improve students' public participation ability.In the preand post-class tasks,the use of "Internet +" to broaden the way for students' public participation,improve students' public participation ability and enhance students' public participation awareness,so that students can achieve real public participation.
