With the development of China’s social economy,the social welfare system has been continuously improved.As a national institution for the adoption of orphans and disabled children,the Children ’ s Welfare Institute provides care for the orphans and disabled children in life,medical care and education.As family care,family-based care models are subject to various constraints,the current collective parenting has become the main mode of care for children ’ s welfare homes.The long-term residential life has led to the lack of a diverse social environment for school-age children in welfare homes,and faces pressures and challenges from environmental and psychological aspects.At present,the orientation of children’s social work service in China has changed from a problem perspective to a superior perspective,and the theory of resilience has become a new model of social work practice.Therefore,this study used 7 school-age children in L City Children’s Welfare Institute as the service object,guided by the theory of stress resistance,collected empirical data through non-structural interviews and participation observations,and analyzed and summarized the school-age children in L City Children’s Welfare Institute.The problem.Mainly lack of correct self-awareness,low self-worth,lack of management emotions,lack of clear goals and lack of communication skills,resilience needs to be improved.Using the method of group work,the author carried out a group activity on the improvement of the resilience of school-age children in the welfare school of L City,and provided theoretical development and practical exploration for the study of the resilience of school-age children in the welfare college.The introduction of this paper mainly states the background andresearch significance of the thesis,the research situation at home and abroad,research methods,research ideas and related concepts and theories.The first chapter,through the preliminary investigation and collection of field information,provides a detailed introduction and analysis of the basic situation of L City Children’s Welfare Institute and school-age children.The second chapter puts forward the specific problems of this study by analyzing the needs of school-age children in L Welfare Institute,the protection factors of school-age children and the risk factors of school-age children.The third chapter,according to the specific problems of the service object,forms the logical framework of the group work intervention,carries out the six-time social work group activities,and records,analyzes and summarizes the activity process in detail.In the fourth chapter,the process evaluation is carried out from the satisfaction and participation of the group members.The resilience measurement questionnaire and the self-reporting of the group members are used to evaluate the effectiveness,reflect on the inadequacies in the research process,and comb the group activities.The idea is to get some inspiration about the social work practice of the study on the resilience of school-age children in welfare homes.
