| Since the 18 th National Congress of the Party,with the rapid development of preschool education in China,more and more new teachers have joined the preschool education team.As a result,new preschool teacher’s career survival status has become the focus needed to pay urgent social attention.Because the career survival status of new preschool teachers is always affecting the development status of their early career,and it also shapes their future career development trajectory and status.Because of the dynamic,procedural and original nature of the new preschool teachers’ career survival status,therefore,in order to more truly present and truly understand the new teachers’ career survival status,this research mainly uses narrative research method to make an in-depth research on the career survival status of three new preschool teachers.By the way of "purpose sampling",this research selects three new teachers from three public kindergartens in Hohhot as the research objects.Focused on the six dimensions of salary,working status,kindergarten management,interpersonal communication,professional growth and career planning of the new teachers,and on the basis of Maslow’s theory of hierarchy needs,teachers ’ career development theory,and social ecology theory,this research uses the narrative research method to deconstruct and reconstruct the story of the career survival status of the three new teachers under a specific historical background.Taking the three stages of "the career beginning","experience changes" and "towards the future" of the new kindergarten teacher’s career development time as the vertical axis and the typical and critical story of the new kindergarten teacher in different timeperiods as the horizontal axis,this research outlines the three new teachers’ career survival stories in the crossover.In the process of deep description of the story,through constantly clarifying the characteristics of their career survival status,and revealing the reasons behind its influence on its professional survival status,this research finally makes a response and reflection.This research found that the new teacher’s career survival status has four characteristics: showing three development stages of(disappointment,uneasiness,watching),career adaptation is the basis,career growth is the key,and career growth identity is the driving force.The source of influence is mainly human aspects including the personality characteristics and important others of new preschool teachers;The aspects of kindergarten includes management system,on-the-job training,work form;The aspects of society include social status,social expectations,and pre-vocational education.This research makes a response and reflection to the three new preschool teachers ’career survival stories from three aspects: teachers,Kindergarten campus and society.It goes without saying that narrative research,as a "qualitative" research method,is not a theoretical construction that pursues universal structure.It is designed to restore the truth by deep researching in the scene,to listen to the most authentic voices and record the most subtle stories through in-depth onsite interviews,observations and in-kind collection,finally to realize the restoration truth in the in-depth description and to arouse more readers’ emotional resonance,and to cause more readers ’emotional resonance,the fusion of vision,and the generation of individual educational wisdom in the interpretation of meaning.Therefore,for each reader,its value is not only limited to the description in the story,but also hidden in the interpretation of differences outside the story. |
