The teaching of Chinese characters is one of the important tasks of Chinese learning in junior middle school.Understanding and mastering Chinese characters accurately is the premise of improving students' reading and writing ability,so Chinese characters teaching has been the focus of many Chinese educators and related researchers.According to the new curriculum,"students from grade 7 to grade 9 should have a cumulative understanding of 3,500 commonly used Chinese characters,of which about 3,000 can write,be able to write Chinese characters accurately and neatly,use the Chinese language correctly,and develop the emotion of loving the Chinese language and characters." Chinese character teaching is the important content of Chinese teaching,but a lot of problems exist in the current junior middle school Chinese teaching,in order to find out the problems,to explore the cause of Chinese characters teaching problems,put forward the corresponding solution,the paper in baotou BaZhong junior middle school Chinese characters teaching situation,for example,in order to similar schools of Chinese teaching in order to provide the beneficial reference.The introduction of the paper mainly puts forward the origin,status,significance and methods of the research.The first part of the text,based on interviews and questionnaires,analyzes the problems existing in the teaching of Chinese characters in junior middle school from the perspectives of students and teachers.Students: first,the overall level of students writing is not high;Second,the phenomenon of confusion is common.Teachers: first,teachers have a casual attitude towards the teaching of Chinese characters;Second,the teaching method is single;Third,the teachers have little understanding of the cultural connotation of Chinese characters.The second part explores the causes of the problems.On the one hand,students' Chinese literacy is weak,which is manifested in five aspects: first,students' Chinese writing foundation is poor;Second,students need to grasp the shape of the word homophonic words in a significant proportion;Third,students read a small amount of Chinese characters can not be consolidated;Fourth,students' word usage is greatly influenced by network language.Fifth,students do not realize the importance of Chinese character standard to the high school entrance examination.On the other hand,teachers have insufficient understanding of Chinese characters teaching in junior middle school,which is manifested in three aspects: first,teachers do not pay attention to the cultivation of basic Chinese characters;Second,teachers do not pay attention to the correction of wrong words in reading and writing teaching;Third,the teachers do not understand the importance of Chinese characters in the high school entrance examination.The third part discusses the improvement measures of Chinese character teaching in junior middle school.On the one hand,we should develop the special training of Chinese character standard writing among the students,including five aspects.Second,students learn pictophonetic characters by induction.Third,the implementation of dictation linkage training to strengthen the correct pronunciation and shape of Chinese characters;Fourth,carry out extracurricular reading to strengthen the accumulation and consolidation of Chinese characters.On the other hand,the teaching level and ability of Chinese characters can be improved,including four aspects.Second,to explore the cultural connotation of Chinese characters to attract students' interest;The third is to integrate the teaching of Chinese characters into the whole process of Chinese teaching.
