Private colleges and universities grabbed the big opportunity of China's higher education expansion plan at the end of 20th century and their number and scale has grown up rapidly and now they have been an important part of China's higher education.From the beginning of 21st century,due to the sharp competition of student resources,private colleges and universities have initiated a variety of reforms,especially in personnel and salary systems,so as to get enough student resources.On the one hand,the reforms can offer practical and effective salary plan to attract higher level talents;on the other hand,they can provide incentive measures for the school teachers to cultivate sustainable developed teachers and avoid losing key teachers.At the same time,offer effective incentives to stimulate all the teachers'talent capacity in scientific research by providing convenience and guarantee for the teachers with scientific research ability.The author use the salary system of H University as a research object,and design a satisfaction questionnaire based on studying relevant salary theories,analyzing the successful salary system of typical private colleges and universities at home.The paper aims to offer proposal for H University to reform its salary system by learning from some typical private colleges and universities at home.In order to help H University obtain further advancement and fulfill the three Strategies,i.e.“Building the school upon high teaching quality,thriving the school with unique feature,strengthening the school with excellent talents”,which was established in the 13th Five-year Development Plan of H University,this thesis put forward the following reform frame:based on fundamental position,emphasize teaching ability and center on performance.Finally,this paper offers some supporting measures in organization,institution and culture.
