"Core Literacy" refers to the necessary character and key ability that students should have to meet needs of the lifelong development and social development.How to implement the core elements is an important topic in the current reform of Chinese education.The key issue,which this study intends to solve,is how to apply the "little-teacher system" designed by researchers to the Chinese language teaching in elementary schools with the context of core literacy.This paper shifts from a macroscopic theoretical perspective to a medium-level or micro-level practice perspective.By giving the core literacy a specific academic background,this paper selects the research of elementary schools' Chinese language classrooms as an entrance and the little-teacher system as a carrier to make the traditional teaching method rejuvenate in the new era by integrating new concepts.Through two rounds of action research,the researchers proposed seven teaching activities of the little-teacher system in elementary school teaching:"Pre-study little teacher","character little teacher","reading little teacher","commissioning little teacher",“summarizing-class little teacher","after-school little teacher",and"assessing little teacher".Meanwhile,this paper explains the duties,requirements,and implementation suggestions of teachers in these seven teaching activities.The researchers designed three kinds of effective tools:thinking explicit tools,emotional motivation tools,and regular tools;summed up the evaluation reward strategy and teacher observation strategy;and introduced the leading role of teachers in the little teacher system.Due to the limitations of the action research and the limited time and energy of the researchers,it is the inadequacy of this study without further and more in-depth discussion.Through reflection and summarization,the researchers put forward prospects and suggestions for future implementation and research,including the importance of teacher cultivation and training,the development of specific indicators indifferent sections,and the implementation of strengths of traditional teaching methods.
