From the perspective of positive psychology,I investigated 550 students in a boarding junior middle school,analyzed the current situation of coping styles and resilience,and explored the relationship among coping styles,resilience and school adaptation.The results are as follows:1.There are significant differences between the sexes of "school attitude and affective dimension"(school adaptation),"goal focus"(psychological resilience),"emotional control dimension"(resilience)and "problem solving"(positive coping),and "vent"(negative coping).2.There is no significant difference in coping style,resilience,school adjustment and the only child of each dimension.3.There are significant differences in the interpersonal support dimension of resilience.4.There were significant differences in mental resilience,goal-focused dimension,emotional control dimension,positive cognitive dimension,family support dimension,problem-solving dimension of coping style,school adaptation,teacher-student relationship dimension,academic adaptation dimension and conventional adaptation dimension.The results showed that the grade differences of school attitude and emotion,teacher-student relationship and emotion control were higher in grade one than in grade three.In academic adaptation,routine adjustment,school adaptation and goal focused dimension,grade 1 and grade 2 were higher than junior 3.In the positive cognitive dimension,junior 1 and junior 3 are lower than junior 2.In family support dimensions and problem solving dimensions,junior 1 is higher than junior 2 and junior 3.5.Resilience was positively correlated with school adaptation and its dimensions,positively correlated with coping style,problem-solving,help-seeking and withdrawal dimensions,negatively correlated with fantasy dimensions,but not significantly correlated with vent and endurance dimensions.6.Resilience and goal-focused dimensions predicted problem-solving;resilience,interpersonal assistance and emotional control predicted help-seeking;resilience,coping style,problem-solving and fantasy dimensions predicted school adaptation significantly.7.Resilience plays a part of mediating role between predictive variable "problem solving" and dependent variable "school adaptation";resilience plays a full mediating role between help-seeking and school adaptation;and resilience plays a full mediating role between withdrawal and school adaptation.
