The unity of instrumental and humanism are the basic characteristics of Chinese curriculum.Instrumentality refers to the ability to accept and express language signs,namely the ability to listen,speak,read and write.Humanism refers to the shaping effect of Chinese education on character,personality,outlook on life,values and aesthetics.Nowadays,under the influence of utilitarianism and pragmatism,many Chinese teachers emphasize the training of exam-oriented skills in the actual Chinese class,trying to improve their performance through a large number of exercises,while ignoring the humanistic teaching of Chinese,which weakens the role of Chinese education in cultivating people.As a model of Chinese education reform,huang yufeng's teaching embodies strong humanistic characteristics.His educational views "treat people as human beings" and his training goal "life education" all embody humanistic education.Therefore,this paper adopts literature research,case study,analysis,induction and other methods to analyze huang yufeng's humanistic education thought,hoping to provide useful enlightenment for Chinese education under the siege of utilitarianism and pragmatism.This paper is divided into three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction part is the origin of the subject,literature review,methods and significance of the research and the definition of thecore concepts;The first chapter elaborates the origin of huang yufeng's humanistic education thought and the influence of his personal growth experience on his educational thought.The second chapter summarizes the educational thought and practice of huang yufeng's humanistic education.The third chapter mainly explores the inspiration of huang yufeng's humanistic education thought to modern education.The conclusion of this paper is mainly to summarize the article and explore the shortcomings of the article.
