Drama is a kind of ancient art,which presents thousands of social phenomena,conveys the humanistic spirit and enriches the aesthetic needs of mankind.“Drama should be the factory of thought,reminder of conscience,illustrator of social morality,weapon of expelling despair and dullness as well as temple of praising human progress”,said George Bernard Shaw.Drama helps us find a clear road in the chaotic real world.The selection of the drama into the Chinese textbook of high school also reflects its aesthetic function and the educational function which cannot be ignored.However,the status of high school Chinese drama teaching is still on the verge nowadays.The Chinese teaching reform is continuously deepened,and Chinese teachers also recognize the value of drama teaching,but most teachers still pay less attention to the teaching of drama.They ignore the unique artistic charm and teaching methods of drama,and consider it as a subsidiary of fiction,prose,poetry and other stylistic teaching.Some even ignore it.Teachers' teaching attitude directly affects students' learning behavior.Most students are not interested in drama and think that drama learning is of little significance.Besides,even classical theatrical works can only appear in the sight of students in an excerpt because of limited length of textbook,which greatly discounts the beauty of the drama.Only by grasping the characteristics and charm of drama and mastering the teaching methods of drama can teachers make the teaching of dramas practical and give play to the proper functions of drama teaching.Under the background of new curriculum reform,Chinese teaching advocates students to conduct independent inquiry learning.The proposal of "learning task group" even requires teachers to carry out "the whole book reading and discussing"."Teaching tips" of multiple task groups requires teaching in the form of "thematic reading" and "thematic teaching".From this point of view,the thematic teaching of the drama not only meets the requirements of the curriculum standard,but also enables students to have a multi-angle understanding and perception of the dramatic works,strengthens their sense of independent learning,cultivates the ability of inquiry and innovation,and broadens the space of Chinese Classroom Teaching,making Chinese Classroom Teaching more dynamic.This thesis mainly focuses on the thematic teaching of drama,takes the "Chinese Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)" as the starting point and the foothold,and clarifies the characteristics of drama teaching materials,the value of drama teaching,and the goal of drama teaching.Through the questionnaires and class examples,it sorts out the current situation of thematic teaching of drama.Combining the characteristics and value of the thematic teaching of the drama,it proposes the corresponding thematic teaching strategies of the drama to guide the thematic teaching practice of the drama and reflect in practice.This thesis is divided into five parts.The first part summarizes the table of contents,teaching values and learning objectives of the selected dramatic works,and analyzes the feasibility of the thematic teaching of drama.The second part clarifies the characteristics and the value of the thematic teaching of the drama,and affirms the practical significance of the thematic teaching of drama.The third part analyzes the teachers' teaching problems and students' learning problems in the thematic teaching of drama in Chinese textbook of high school,and makes a more detailed evaluation of the current situation of drama's thematic teaching.The fourth part analyzes and guides the thematic teaching practice of drama with the thematic teaching strategy of drama.The fifth part reflects on the thematic teaching of drama on the basis of practice.The conclusion part summarizes the full thesis,pointing out the importance of thematic teaching of drama and the inadequacies of this thesis in the study.
