The curriculum standards for general high school mathematics(2017 edition)propose the core qualities of mathematics: mathematical abstraction,logical reasoning,mathematical modeling,intuitive imagination,mathematical operation and data analysis.As one of the most important qualities,mathematical operation quality is a basic approach to solving problems.High school students in ethnic minority areas do not have high mathematical operation ability.They do not understand the operational objects,cannot master the algorithm,cannot explore the operational ideas,and do not get the correct operational results.Therefore,it is extremely important to study the strategies for improving the mathematical operation quality of high school students in minority areas.First of all,this paper refers to the related literature and understands the mathematical operation ability of the related research at home and abroad.Then,based on test investigations and questionnaire surveys of high school students in national region,the paper promotes strategies for improving mathematics operation quality of senior high school students in minority areas.Finally,the experimental and comparative method is used to study the feasibility of the strategies,which is expected to have positive influence on the mathematical operation quality of senior high school students in minority areas.Through the test investigations and the questionnaire surveys,it is found that the mathematics operation ability of senior high school students in the minority area is not high.The factors influencing the development of high school students’ mathematical quality in minority areas are as follows: bad mathematical habits;inadequate basic knowledge of mathematics;not being able to use mathematical skills flexibly and grasp mathematics basic thought and so on.According to the results of the research,the author puts forward several strategies for improving the mathematical operation quality of senior high school students in minority areas:(1)strengthening the mathematical calculation strategies: changing the operation habits,optimizing the operation skills;(2)strategies for strengthening the teaching of mathematical concepts;(3)strategies for strengthening the connection between mathematical knowledge points;(4)strategies for strengthening the application of bolya problem solving table;(5)strategies for strengthening the thinking method of mathematical problem solving.
