With the rapid development of the economy and society,and the rapid development of mobile communication and the Internet,the children especially school-age children,have become more and more distracting in the process of growth.The problems of the children’s attention and which caused by it are getting more and more attention from the society.The paper is based on the form of parent-child group,with children’s attention as an entry point,which taking the theory of Symbolic Interaction Theory and Group Dynamics Theory as the theoretical perspective.The thesis are using the interview method,observation method,and scale method as the data collection method to carry out qualitative research.The paper is applying the parent-child group to research the children’s attention promotion by the group work.Taking the Q group work as an example,the paper discusses the application of the parent-child group in the W Sub-district Office to improve children’s attention.Studies have shown that the parent-child group is effective in improving children’s attention,and enhances the child’s attention,and also allows parents and children to interact with each other in the process of parent-child interaction.The parent-child group has some effects in improving children’s attention,such some group members have high dependence on parents and often embarrassed emotional problems.The parent-child group also familiarized the parents with the connotation of children’s attention,the form of activities,observed the performance of their children,and played a role of “helping others to help themselves” by improving their ability to learn to go home and carry out the attention of children at home.The parent-child group should pay more attention to guiding parents how to play the appropriate role in the group.As a professional group,the social worker’s leadership and professional ability,the team’s cooperation,the role of supervision,and the organization’s logistics support are all important factors affecting the children’s attention-enhancing group.These factors are also organically linked.The improvement of children’s attention also needs to build a multi-integrated social ecosystem such as original family-children’s companion-community-school-media-social public etc.
