School Social Work Is Involved In The Research On The Adaptability Of College Freshmen

With the popularity of education in China,the scale of college students is becoming more and more large.In September 2018,a large number of newly grown“00”students began to enter university campuses.Most of them are the only children born in the national family planning era,growing up in a rapidly developing society.After entering the university campus,some freshmen are facing unprecedented challenges due to various reasons,including the inadaptability to the new environment,new learning tasks and new interpersonal networks.School social work belongs to the major of social work,which mainly targets students,teachers and other groups in the school.No matter in theory guidance or working method,school social work has its unique work advantages.Under the guidance of ecosystem theory and resilience theory,this paper analyzes its intervention in the adaptation of college freshmen from the perspective of school social work.The introduction mainly introduces the background,literature review and application methods of this paper.The first chapter firstly summarizes the research object of this paper--freshmen of the 2018 management department of the College of youth politics,Inner Mongolia Normal University.It adopts the method of questionnaire survey to make statistical analysis of the basic situation and existing adaptation problems of the research object.Among them,the author summarized the common adaptation problems of freshmen into environmental adaptation,academic adaptation and interpersonal adaptation.In addition,the author also made an investigation and statistics on the current situation of freshmen s adaptation work in the college,and learned that there are psychological studios and school social workstations that are also making their own contributions.The second chapter mainly analyzes the reasons for freshmen to have such adaptation problems.According to the actual situation,the author summarizes the reasons for freshmen to have such adaptation problems into two aspects:internal reasons and external reasons.The third chapter is the practical research on the involvement of social work in the adaptation of new students.The author adopts two methods,one is the case study and the other is the group study.After providing professional help services to the case owner and the team members,the results of the case satisfaction scale and the team activity satisfaction evaluation questionnaire were received,which reflected the recognition of the service objects for the school's social work service.This proves that the school social work has advanced working methods in the intervention of freshmen adaptation problems and can provide more targeted services for freshmen.
