With the extensive development of the marathon in China and the continuous development of college campus marathons,more and more college students are participating in the marathon,and the psychological ability of college students to marathon is also widely concerned by coaches,psychologists and others.Previous studies have focused on the physical training methods of marathon and their sports value.There are few studies on the psychological ability of college students.How college students have a strong physical and healthy mental state,as well as a sound personality,is an important issue currently facing.In this study,18 college students who participated in the marathon run were studied.Through semi-structured interviews,Nvivo12.0 qualitative analysis software was used to construct the components of college students’ marathon psychological resilience,and a large number of participants’ running and training diaries were collected.The following main conclusions were drawn:(1)The psychological resilience of college students’ marathon runs includes sports ability,coping strategies,stressful personality,and social support.According to the research results,athletic ability includes four aspects: physical resilience,pain tolerance,completion of training goals,and rich sports experience.The results of the study show that college students with strong athletic ability have better performance in the marathon run.(2)The coping strategy mainly includes six items,which are challenge self,self-control ability,strong self-confidence,rich knowledge of mental skills,concentration,and psychological suggestion.Based on the results of this study,the psychological resilience of college students’ marathon runs is related to more active coping strategies.(3)The stressful and tough personality that affects the tough performance of college students’ marathon runs,including: strong wins,longing for success,strong sense of accomplishment,optimism,self-permanence,persistence,and self-discipline.(4)The social support of college students participating in the marathon run mainly comes from two aspects: the external environment that motivates the self and the cheering of the audience.The elements of psychological resilience of college students are interconnected and interact.
