Since the cooperation between Hanban and the Ministry of Education of Thailand to promote Chinese in 2003,the number of schools offering Chinese language courses in Thailand and the number of students learning Chinese has increased rapidly,and the Chinese language education has flourished in Thailand.However,for Thai students,there are many problems in learning Chinese,and one of the biggest problem is learning Chinese character.Based on the characteristics of Chinese hieroglyphics,50 pictographs are selected as the teaching content in this article.The students are divided into experimental group and original group.The two groups will adopt different teaching means and methods.Then through the analysis of two tests' results,the most suitable hieroglyphic teaching method for Thai students will be found out.This article can be divided into four parts.The first part introduces the purpose and significance of the research,the current teaching mode and teaching methods of Chinese characters,and the research methods used in this paper.The second part mainly introduces the definition,characteristics and classification of hieroglyphics.The third part mainly introduces the preliminary preparation of hieroglyphic teaching,including the school profile,teaching objects,teaching content,teaching objectives,teaching time,teaching methods and so on.The fourth part describes the experimental content and experimental process,namely the hieroglyphic teaching design scheme and teaching process,and analyzes the experimental results,then draws conclusions.
