Research On The Cultivation Of College Students’ Social Responsibility Based On Volunteer Service

Higher education shoulders the three missions of talent cultivation,scientific research and social services.Volunteer service combines the talent cultivation of higher education with the mission of social service,thereby promoting educational activities to unify personal development and social progress into social practice.Volunteer service is aimed at "helping others and serving the society".It not only helps to promote social well-being,eases social contradictions,but also plays an irreplaceable role in promoting the all-round development of college students.Volunteer service combines the theory of practice with practice to transform social responsibility cognition into social responsibility behavior,which is conducive to promoting college students to recognize their own civic roles as members of society,and to guide college students to think about individuals and society in the practice of living.The deep relationship,the promotion of understanding and recognition of social responsibility,the strengthening of social responsibility emotion and will,and the rational consciousness of fulfilling responsibility are important carriers and useful supplements for the cultivation of college students’ sense of social responsibility.This article takes "concept definition-problem and status-cause analysis-countermeasure inquiry" as the train of thought.First of all,the concept of volunteer service and college students’ sense of social responsibility is defined to further explain the internal relationship between the two.Secondly,it analyzes the necessity and feasibility of volunteer service as the carrier of college students’ social responsibility,and highlights the unique value of volunteer service as the carrier of college students’ social responsibility.Furthermore,through questionnaires,this paper analyzes the current situation of the cultivation of social responsibility of college students with volunteer service as the carrier,points out the problem of volunteer service in cultivating college students’ sense of social responsibility,and conducts attribution analysis based on the problems existing in the above research.Finally,according to the research results of the status and the cause analysis,this paper proposes the corresponding countermeasures to cultivate the social responsibility of college students with volunteer service as the carrier from the perspectives of socialresponsibility cognition,emotion,will and behavior.Through the above research results,it is found that some colleges and universities have incorporated volunteer service into the construction of the second classroom of ideological and political education,and gradually attached importance to the educational function of volunteer service,and strengthened the cultivation of responsibility awareness in the process of recruitment,training and service of college students.The development of volunteer service is still in a perfect stage,and there are certain problems in the concept,content,mechanism and method of cultivating college students’ sense of social responsibility.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the ideological value of volunteer service,promote the mission and responsibility of volunteer culture,build a long-term mechanism for volunteer service,and optimize the training system of volunteer service to enhance the level of social responsibility of college students.
