Both the basic education geography curriculum reform and the compulsory education geography curriculum standard(2011)emphasize the importance of the practical ability of geography,put forward is to integrate into the local resource force training.Through literature research,this paper sorted out the related concepts and research trends,know the The research on the teaching and local resource began very early at home and abroad.It is of great significance for the improvement of teachers' professional knowledge and ability,the comprehensive development of students' ability and the improvement of teaching reform and educational theory to cultivate the practical ability of junior high school students based on local geography teaching.This paper sorted out the related concepts and research trends through literature research.By means of questionnaire survey,On this basis,through the questionnaire survey method,the teaching application of local geographic resources in Changsha city and the current situation of junior middle school students' practical ability training were investigated.This paper sums up the deficiencies in the cultivation of junior middle school students' geographic practical ability and the application of local resources in teaching and analyzes the reasons.Five ways to cultivate practical ability based on local resources are put forward.Use case analysis method to carry on further research in the form of teaching practice.The conclusion is as follows:(1)Local resources are necessary in the cultivation of geographical practice,which can strengthen students' understanding and application of knowledge,enrich teaching practice,enhance students' practical interest and enhance students' practical consciousness.The geographical practicalability training based on local resources has more advantages than the traditional training mode.First,local resources exist in the actual life of students,students can personally experience,easy for students to observe and analyze;Second,local resources are geographical things and phenomena that students are familiar with.Practical activities designed as teaching resources and textbook knowledge can stimulate students' interest in learning and actively participate in teaching activities.(2)Based on the questionnaire survey on the application of local resources teaching in Changsha city and the current situation of the cultivation of geographical practical ability,this paper summarizes and analyzes the deficiencies in the cultivation of geographical practical ability in junior middle schools.For example,students have less experience in geography practice,the level of junior high school students' geographical practice is not enough,the use of local resources to cultivate the geographical practice of the way and means,less integration of local resources in teaching.In view of the deficiency in the cultivation of geographical practical ability,the reasons are analyzed.It mainly includes the limitation of traditional ideology,the inadequacy of teachers' professional ability,the insufficient attention of education departments and schools,the insufficient comprehensive evaluation system of junior high school geography education and the insufficient time for students' activities.(3)There are five ways to cultivate geographic practical ability based on local resources:Create local situation.Conduct simulation experiments.Carrying out field investigation activities.Organize field investigation activities.Geographic mapping based on local resources.It is mainly used for the cultivation of junior middle school students' ability to analyze and solve problems,geographic mapping ability,geographic experiment ability,geographic investigation and investigation ability,and geographicobservation ability.Aiming at five ways of cultivating practical ability of geography,combining with the contents of geography teaching materials of junior middle school,this paper sorts out the local resources of Changsha that can be used to cultivate practical ability,and designs practical teaching activities to elaborate how to use local resources to cultivate practical ability.(4)Organize teaching design and practice,through the feedback of classroom performance and students after class,it is found that the strategy has achieved positive effects on various aspects of geographic practical literacy.
