Humanism has a long history and deep influence.Its teaching concept is based on the theory of one of China's education reform.Yoga combines dance,gymnastics and Taiji and it is a philosophy which benefits both body and mind.As a result of its unique features,yoga is very popular among students.In recent years,many colleges set up yoga class,which greatly promotes the popularization of yoga.From the perspective of humanism,colleges put the ideas of “people oriented” and” education oriented” into yoga teaching and try to build students' characters of” being an integrated person” and “self-actualization”.This article establishes on the basis of humanism to explore the role and Implications for current College of Yoga teaching quality improvement.Humanisticof self-realization,meaningful learning theory,teacher-student relations theory,learning objectives,freedom to learn,apply three aspects of the teaching processand get the following conclusion: 1.Yoga Teaching in Universities on goal setting,lack of current value reflects the philosophy of yoga,in the discovery potential of students,cultivate self-learning ability and then complete the self-fulfilling aspect,still need to continue to open up.Some teachers are lack of a deep understanding to yoga philosophy and a comprehensive grasp to this sport,because of which,yoga's spreading in colleges remains only in the technological level,not rising to the philosophical and cultural height,so the teaching idea of” education oriented” can't be carried out easily.2.In terms of teaching implementation,current yoga teaching content more monotonous universities;teaching methods and approach ignores students' personality development of culture and creativity;reference materials,the lack of a standardized assessment content,ignoring students emotion,will and other irrational factors.3.In the teacher-student relations,current yoga teacher as the main teaching universities are still not reflected in student-centered,individualized teaching to meet the humanistic philosophy.4.Thelack of hardware and facilities is not conducive to stimulate students' interest and motivation.Itis not conducive to the overall development of yoga teaching.On this basis,there are some suggestions: 1.Universities0 yoga teaching objectives should reflect the value of yoga philosophy,to agree with the students' individual learning goals,straighten teaching,learning relationship,reflecting the value of student self-realization.Yoga teaching colleges and universities to leave school,and yoga market integration,multi-channel expansion of Yoga Teachers 'Training means to enhance the quality of training and professional upgrading of teachers capital strength,and thus meet the students' self-realization value in the teaching process.2.In the students' interest and motivation as a starting point,rich course content,textbooks and standardized assessment criteria,to develop teaching space,promote and outside class integration,Lifelong Physical Education concept.3.Enhance teachers' professional level,and the courage to cast aside,reflects a student-centered teaching philosophy,good tap the potential of students,respect for science overall growth and personal development,so that teacher-student relationship more integrated.4.Increase investment in hardware and teaching environment,improving infrastructure,embodies all students Humanistic Education.
