With the rapid development of information technology,students have been studying and growing up in digital resources atmosphere of Weibo,Wechat,QQ and a series of digital products.Digital technology is supporting and promoting education.at the same time,it is also reforming the form of traditional education.A new teaching style,which is putting knowledge transfer before the class starts,knowledge internalization during class,is reversing traditional teaching style,which is starting from class and continuing after class."Flipped Classroom" style is arising at the historic moment."Flipped Classroom" is the learning process to distract attention of classes from teachers to students.The educational philosophy of "Flipped Classroom" style,which is centered on students,the flexible ways for teaching and studying,and the concepts of focusing on students' individualized and comprehensive development,are favored and applied to teaching practice by more and more educators in art education worldwide.During four years of introducing of "Flipped Classroom" teaching style into our country,the domestic arts educators have been conducting some researches on it.But the practice had proved that when the practitioners set one teaching model in one particular subject,then it came with inapplicable problems.Consequently,for providing front-line art teachers with a relatively perfect teaching mode,which would be applied more effectively in more broad fields and system,that has becoming a noteworthy issues existing in the "Flipped Classroom" in junior middle school.Above all,this thesis analyses origin and current development of "Flipped Classroom" and comparisons of each element between it and tradition classroom point out the significance of the research.Subsequently,the author enumerates some classic cases of "Flipped Classroom" at home and abroad,then specific analyses the characteristics and advantages of each model to design teaching model which is based on and suit for junior middle school arts.And combine with junior middle school arts to devise Handmade Book Design and Kaishu Calligraphy as teaching case then carried Handmade Book Design out in teaching practice.Afterwards,we found out thatbut not least,pointed out achievements and shortages in this thesis to indicate the direction for further research so that they could bring more and better advantages of "Flipped Classroom".
