As a major contemporary cultural phenomenon,popular culture is increasingly favored by young people with rich contents and a variety of forms of expression.Popular culture which contains a wealth of language knowledge,can reflect the characteristics of language disciplines.So popular culture is suitable to be introduced into middle school language teaching.But there are also poor popular culture,which will have a negative impact on middle school students.Therefore,in the process of combining secondary school language teaching with popular culture,Teachers should select the popular culture which will help students grow up healthily and improve their language ability to teach,improving the literacy rate of Chinese students in middle school students.The full text is divided into six parts.Part 1: Introduction.The background and significance of this paper are described.This part first summarizes the definition and characteristics of popular culture.Then this part systematically combs the domestic and foreign literatures of popular culture and pop culture in middle school Chinese teaching,Part 2: the theory and realistic basis of popular culture applied to Chinese teaching in middle school.This part using the discussion from the theoretical and practical aspects to prove the necessity and feasibility of the popular culture in the middle school language teachingPart 3: the analysis of the current situation of Chinese teaching in middle school under the influence of popular culture.Through the comparison and analysis of student and teacher questionnaires,this article find the problems and discover the causes of the problems.Part 4: Principles and Strategies of Popular Culture in Middle School Chinese Teaching.For the rapid development of popular culture,educators should dialectically analyze and correctly guide,distinguishing it between primary and secondary.In teaching,the teachers should stimulate student interest and communicate with the students equally in order to narrow the psychological distance with the students.Teachers should change the concept of education,using popular culture to expand reading.Teachers should seek the combination of popular culture and language to complete the language teaching better.Part 5: The Application of Popular Culture in Middle School Chinese Teaching.Combined with the questionnaire analysis,the author explore the way how the popular culture can be applied to writing teaching,reading teaching,oral communication teaching in secondary school.Part 6: Conclusion.
