Currently,there are many revolutions in Chinese reading education,the core of Chinese teaching class,because this education often leads to high scores but low ability.Students can obtain high test scores,but they have difficulties solving reading problems in real practice when facing complex reading context,let alone,improve their listening,speaking and writing skills.To overcome the problem that reading are often separated from practice in the learning process,a lot of investigators and teachers are exploring new methods in reading education-reading for practice method.In this method,"Reading" focuses on the textbook reading,and "Practice" focuses on improving students' listening,speaking,reading and writing skills and the final goal is to prepare them for the life challenge in the 21st century.The reading education is the process and material of this method,and "Practice" is the final goal."Reading for Practice" method has been widely used in primary school Chinese class.However,there are relatively few of them are aimed for practice and the method focused on"practice" is more suitable to improve student's Chinese learning abilities.Therefore,I will use documentary research method,case analysis method,experiential summary method and model construction method to intensively study the "Reading for Practice" Chinese teaching method in Primary School.Firstly,documentary research method will be used tomake clear of the definition of Reading for practice,as well as its theory and practice basis,basic characters and operation process.This will lay a solid foundation for the study.Secondly,I will do case studies of three different kinds of reading cases:learn to read materials for low level learmers,research journal for medium level learners and classic literature for high level learners.This is used to find the fundamental feature,implementation strategy and evaluation mechanism of these three cases.In the end,I will think rationally about Reading for Practice method with experiential summary method to find its meaning and disadvantage.Iwill propose the corresponding strategies to gradually improve Reading for Practice method.This would promote the development of both teachers and students.However,this method has its own deficiencies:students' reading results may be overestimated and their ability to apply reading skills may still need to be improved.Based on this,I come up with two strategies:use the whole as the logic basis of the teaching method;improve students' listening,reading and writing skills by grasping difficult concepts.In this paper,I will describe the dynamic thinking process of how teachers could instruct students to pursue Reading for Practice,and I will also explain the corresponding teaching methods to provide an guidance example.
