| The new national curriculum standards propose that high school chemistry education should aim at all students.However,in present high school chemistry teaching,it appears hard to target all students.Teachers still regard whole students as plain,similar containers of knowledge,neglecting studen’s differences in development levels,learning requests,learning interests,etc,which deprives students of the dominant position of education.In order to achieve the goal of teaching for all students and cater for all students’ needs,it is necessary to change the present teaching situation completely,so teachers can care for all students and carry out differential teaching.The core idea of differential classroom is to design differential teaching contents,processes and results according to students’ diverse knowledge levels,interests and learning styles,thus promoting developments of all students.Commenting lessons in senior high chemistry play a great part in reviewing lessons,and each test reveals students’ existing differences in knowledge and ability.Therefore,commenting lessons provide proper chances for teachers to comment on students’ overall mistakes and prepare students for a higher knowledge level as well as the next test.This research paper is divided into six parts ranging from theories to practices.The first part introduces the background of differential classroom,present research actuality at home and abroad,direction and methodology of the research,and research techniques and routes.The second part talks about theoretical researches into differential teaching and test paper commenting.Based on implications of differential teaching,this part will elaborate theoretical bases for differential teaching from the following aspects:the theory of zone of proximal development from Vygotsky,multiple intelligence theory and mastery learning theory from Brumm.The third part mainly discusses differential teaching strategies of the comments on test papers of senior high chemistry,which includes prerequisites of differential teaching,teaching procedures of comments on test papers and analyses of differential teaching strategies of commenting lesson in chemistry.The forth part centers on experimental research into application of differential teaching strategies to commenting lessons in senior high chemistry,including the following aspects:experimental objectives,experimental subjects,experimental materials,experimental strategies and experiment process.The fifth part,the core of this thesis,studies the application of differential teaching strategies to commenting lessons in senior high chemistry through experimental teaching among senior high school students in Ganzhou No.1 Middle School where I work.This part is aimed at raising concern and discussion of differential teaching strategy application of commenting lessons in senior high chemistry.The sixth part gives a conclusion of the research,reflecting on the defects and limitations of the research as well as looking into the future of differential teaching of senior high chemistry. |
