With the continuous renewal of the concept of history curriculum,the importance of historical materials in the field of history teaching is becoming more and more prominent.History textbooks in middle schools are important resources for history teaching,and also pay more and more attention to the arrangement of historical materials.Because the written historical materials have the characteristics of large quantity and rich content,so it occupies an important position in history textbooks.A new compulsory education history textbook unified by the ministry of education also pay more attention to written historical materials arranges.This edition of history textbooks includes two types of written historical materials,they are historical document,literature historical material.Taking the second volume of the seventh grade of Chinese History compiled by the Ministry for example.It can be seen that there are two characteristics in the selection of this edition of written historical materials.First,there are various types and wide sources of written historical materials;second,there are abundant connotations and flexible handling of written historical materials.As for the arrangement of written historical materials,there are different functions according to their location.The written historical materials in the text have the functions of enriching the content of the text and demonstrating the narration of the preceding text.The written historical materials in text-assisted system have different functions according to their columns however.Comparing with the old junior middle school history textbooks published by the people's education edition,we can see that this edition of history textbooks has its unique features in the arrangement of the written historical materials.Firs,the text historical materials in this version of textbooks are mostly distributed in the text-aided system,and then the arrangement and application forms of text historical materials are flexible and diverse.However,there are still some problems in the citation of literary historical materials in the textbooks compiled by the Ministry of History,which are mainly manifested in the two problems:some literary historical materials do not indicate their origins and some literary historical materials are not typical enough.In view of the above characteristics and problems of the history textbooks compiled by the Ministry,middle school history teachers should pay attention to the application strategies of textbooks' written historical materials when using this version of history textbooks.Firstly,according to different types of written historical materials,teachers should deal with them differently in their application;secondly,they should set up reasonable problems for the relevant written historical materials.
