Abstract/Summary:
The Most of the primary schools in Malaysia can be divided into:National Primary School(Malay:Sekolah Kebangsaan)and National Primary School(Malay:Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan);there are very few private primary schools.In addition to private primary schools,others belong to government primary schools.They are mainly divided into three categories:nationals(Malaysia)with Mandarin(Malay)as the main medium of instruction,and Chinese as the main medium of instruction in Chinese.Huawen Primary School(referred to as Huaxiao)and the national-style Tamil Primary School(referred to as Danxiao)with Tamil as the main medium of instruction.The school selected by non-Chinese students is the National Primary School(Malay:Sekolah Kebangsaan),while the Chinese students choose the Chinese-style Chinese Elementary School(Hua Xiao),which uses Chinese as the main medium of instruction.The Indians choose to use Tamil as the main language.In recent years,more and more non-Chinese students from Sabah have entered Hua xiao.Non-Chinese students studying in Guoxiao and Huaxiao will face interference from first language and second language learning.Parents of non-Chinese students will send their children to HuaXiao,mainly because they feel that they have a certain advantage in learning Chinese.The dilemma of non-Chinese learning can be reduced to four main factors,namely listening,speaking,reading and writing in the curriculum of the Ministry of Education.The teaching situation of teachers allows non-Chinese students to master Chinese in a better and faster way,and can integrate into the learning atmosphere that they are not suitable for.The school has repeatedly advocated students who know Chinese,and does not speak Mandarin with non-Chinese students(Malaysian).Or communicate in their first language.Only teachers and students can cooperate with each other to make non-Chinese students adapt to the learning environment of Chinese language as soon as possible.The efforts of Chinese teachers to make these non-Chinese students work hard.Because the Chinese are convinced that enlightenment education is the most important,all success will be won at the starting point.In order to help non-Chinese students to better master Chinese,in addition to the cooperation between the family and the school teachers,the non-Chinese students have a passion for learning Chinese.If teachers treat students with sincerity,encourage students when appropriate,and always praise them so that they can learn spontaneously,so that everyone can achieve a win-win situation.As for the Huaxiao administrative,they must accept this unchangeable fact(non-Chinese students are the majority),insist that Huaxiao crosses races and religions,teach the classlessness of the current characteristics of Huaxiao,and then inherit the Chinese culture,let the school,parents,Students and the Chinese community have created a new pattern and a new civilization for our Hua Xiao,so that Hua Xiao will go further and be based on this multi-ethnic culture.
