Images Study Of The Russia In The Senior High School History Textbooks

The history textbook is the core part of the history teaching.It is the embodiment and concretization of the history curriculum standard.It plays an important role in the formation and development of the middle school students' outlook on life,world outlook and values.The high school history teaching material research is one of the research hot spots,while the research of the Russian image in the high school history teaching material is very few.Therefore,this paper takes the 2007 edition of senior high school history textbook as the research object,and combs the compiling content of Russian history in the history textbook of senior high school.This paper analyzes the Russian image in the history textbooks of senior high school from three levels: the image of Russia itself,the image of main historical figures of Russia and the image of Russia in Sino-Russian relations.Through the analysis,this paper finds that the image of czar Russia is "a typical feudal autocratic state" and "an empire keen on expanding territory".The image of the Soviet Union has three aspects: "establishing and consolidating the Soviet regime","the important forces of the anti-fascist war" and "the only superpower competing with the United States".Alexander II is the liberator who maintains the rule,Lenin is the founder of the socialist country,and Stalin is the explorer of socialist construction.The image of Russia in Sino-Russian relations has undergone the changes of "invading other countries' empires","learning from them" and "strategic partners of friendly cooperation".After analyzing the Russian image,this paper summarizes the characteristics of Russian image construction in high school history textbooks: historical narrative follows objective facts,emphasizes the description of Soviet history,highlights the role of historical figures,and uses a large number of pictures.The image of Russia is not comprehensive enough.Finally,this article puts forward three suggestions for the construction of Russian image: perfecting the compilation of teaching materials,supplementing relevant historical facts in the teaching process,and carrying out the Russian history activity course in moderation.
