Research On The Improvement Of Ideological And Political Education Quality In Higher Vocational Colleges

With the promulgation of the Outline of Implementation of Quality Improvement for Ideological and Political Work in Colleges and Universities and Opinions on Comprehensively Improving the Teaching Quality of Higher Vocational Education,improving the quality of ideological and political education has been essential for ideological and political work in high vocational colleges,and how to accomplish the fundamental task of moral education is an important problem in higher vocational colleges.On the basis of studying the content and necessity of improving the quality of ideological and political education,this paper puts forward the influencing factors and basic ideas of improving the quality of ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges.This paper is composed of three parts:the first part expounds the necessity of improving the quality of ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges.The improvement of ideological and political education quality in higher vocational colleges is conducive to cultivating builders and successors of socialist cause,helping young students cope with the influence of western social thoughts,and cultivating and practicing socialist core values.The second part analyzes the important factors that influence the quality of ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges.Based on the questionnaire survey results of some students and educators in four higher vocational colleges in Wuhan,this paper analyzes the problems of the three main subjects,namely,the running level of the college,the comprehensive quality of educators and the overall situation of students.From the aspect of college,the deficiency of education idea,fund investment and system guarantee in higher vocational colleges has decisive influence to ideological and political education quality.From the perspective of educators,some teachers pay more attention to theory than practice,more to generality than personality,and more to achievement than character,which also affect the quality of ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges.From the perspective of students,the psychological immaturity,low ideological consciousness and weak executive ability of them are not beneficial to improve ideological and political education quality.The third part puts forward the basic ideas of improving the quality of ideological and political education.First,we should adhere to the fundamental task of moral education,and accelerate the construction of educational system from three aspects:optimizing educational objectives,strengthening professional construction and creating high-quality courses.Second,we should build a teacher team that meets the educational requirements of higher vocational colleges and improve the quality of the teacher team through strict selection of the teaching staff,adjusting the teacher structure and giving full play to the role of instructors.Third,emphasis should be laid on the construction and function of practical education system,and the educational effect should be strengthened through the practice of students’extracurricular activities,practical training activities and the combination of school and enterprise.Fourth,we should standardize school management,strengthen and complete rules and regulations,discipline and rules and evaluation system,and build a school management system conducive to improving the quality of ideological and political education.
