Philosophy as one of the foundation of education,it's change will definitely cause the repercussion in the educational area.When the philosophy appears the transformation from ontology to ethics,it requires the necessity of the recheck of teachers' ethics.Overall,the value of the ethics transformation lies in its contribution to teachers,liberation from the totality and ontology,and offers teachers a new opportunity of development beyond the totality.The ethic research to "the other" respected by Levinas believes that "the other"possesses the priority and complexity so that it can't be seen as the specific experience.Before the face of "the other",teacher ethics have two path:one of them is the reflect of the ego-self in the teacher ethics,and find the totality's domination to the teacher's individual.The other pass is to put the teachers under the face of the students as "the other".In the view of "the other",the value of teacher ethics includes two points:the first is the recheck of the elementary of the foundation of teacher ethics,its purpose is to explain that teacher itself is not the origin of teacher ethics,if and only if the teacher meet with students can teacher find of the meaning of ethics under the students' face.Secondly,it provides the defense of the efficiency of teacher ethics,which means that teacher ethics is not to help teachers to give students too much knowledge,but to ensure the independence of students and make sure that students enable to speak their life's truth independently.In the sight of totality,teachers have rather the autonomy of liberty than the responsibility to students.In such a situation,teachers' control over students can cause the loss of the students,independence by the means of institutional empowerment,authoritarianism of educational knowledge,the technique of disciplinary and punishment.While in the view of "the other",teachers can help with students' all-round development by teachers put themselves under the students,teachers see themselves as the "objective case".In this situation,teachers can open their mind to students unconditionally,take care of students' need,listen to students' voice and make students to make out their own words.
