Since 1990,printmaking and related courses have been added to the art syllabus of primary and middle schools in China.Printmaking is an indirect art.It requires the stude nts to conceive and design autonomously.Moreover,painting,engraving,printing and other links in the printmaking process can cultivate students’ hands-on ability.It is obvio usly in accordance with the demands of the new curriculum standards for practical opera tional learning and the essence of curriculum reform,namely,the integration of curricul um.The logic of thinking,proper procedures of working,good habits of behavior,the abi lity of resisting frustration and the collective consciousness of cooperation are very bene ficial to the students’lifelong study and work.The popularization of printmaking,especi ally children’ printmaking,has been the trend of the times.However,printmaking is still not in popular demand in the whole country,especially in the primary and junior high sch ools in Shangqiu.Therefore,the author is committed to the study of more suitable printm aking curriculum content for the art club of Shangqiu No.16th Middle School.By study ing a variety of printmaking,including paper prints,blow molding paper prints,monoch romatic and multicoloured woodcut prints as well as comprehensive printmaking,and doing research on other aspects of printmaking,such as the selection and use of diverse materials,the ways of plate-making and printing,and final presentation of the results,etc,the author aims to help the students experience how to make different types of printing and their different modes of thinking through the process.The author did a thorough research on printmaking education and teaching of clubs mainly from the domestic outstanding printmaking education base,the increasingly deve loping network education platform,the domestic works and the periodical thesis and so on.The whole research covers a very wide range of contents.It has played a great role in the study and practice of the author.This paper integrates the diversified printmaking tea ching with the middle school fine arts association and organizes the optimal teaching imp iementation scheme to form systematic materials.Hopefully,it can be used for reference in Shangqiu No.16 Middle School or other primary and secondary schools in the practice activities of the clubs.Taking Shangqiu No.16th Middle School as an example,this paper studies and expl ores the practice of diversity printmaking teaching in art clubs.It consists of four chapter s.In the first chapter,the author expounds the meaning of diversified printmaking and th e principles of printmaking curriculum development from the aspects of materials,plate-making and teaching methods,so that readers can have a clear understanding of the autho r’s topic and the principles of curriculum practice.The second chapter illustrates the adva ntages and feasibility of diversity printmaking in the art club from the realistic needs of the development of Shangqiu No.16 Middle School,the necessity of developing the prin tmaking course in the middle school and the flexibility of the clubs.The third chapter is the focus of this paper.It explains in detail the production methods and characteristics of all kinds of printmaking by presenting several cases of the diversified printmaking classe s and works,which can inspire readers who intend to set up printmaking courses;The fou rth chapter makes a deep analysis of the achievements and existing problems in practice in order to promote its better and further development.
