Tang poetry,representing the development peak of Chinese classical poetry,has extremely high historical value,literary value and aesthetic value.The application of Tang poetry to history teaching in junior high schools is a deep exploration of the historical value of Tang poetry,a beneficial exploration of enriching history curriculum resources,and of great significance to promoting the development of history teaching in secondary schools.The article is divided into five parts,and explores the application of Tang poetry in junior high school history teaching.In the introduction,the research significance,relevant research background,research status and research methods of the application of tang poetry in history teaching in junior high school are elaborated.The second part expounds the profound value connotation of tang poetry,the high popularity of tang poetry,and the significance of the application of tang poetry in history teaching in junior high school,thus demonstrating the main advantages of the application of tang poetry in history teaching in junior high school.In the third part,a questionnaire survey is conducted on the history teachers and students in junior high school.Based on the analysis of the survey results,some conclusions are drawn on the current situation of the application of tang poetry in history teaching in junior high school.In the fourth part,the effective application of tang poetry in history teaching in junior high school is analyzed in detail,and how to use tang poetry to ingeniously introduce,create situation,temper thinking,help memory,sublimate emotion,set exercises and design theme exploration activities are discussed in detail.The fifth part makes a summative reflection on the application of tang poetry in the history teaching of junior high school from five aspects:the collection and selection of tang poetry,the limit of its use,the application forms of tang poetry,the communication and cooperation between literature and history disciplines,and the development of teachers themselves.
