Research On The Influencing Factors Of College Students’ Participation In Democratic Management Behaviors

Abstract/Summary:
With the expansion of the scale of higher education and the deepening reform of the school management system,many problems have also been encountered in the management reform of universities.These issues are closely related to the sustainable development and scientific development of higher education,and it is necessary to research and explore them deeply and systematically.In recent years,the construction of democratic management in universities has become a hot topic.Paying attention to the subjective status of college students in the democratic management of universities and emphasizing that students’ participation in democratic management is not only conducive to promoting the modernization of universities,but also the inevitable development trend of establishing "Double First-Class" initiative.At the same time,they are the proper meaning of implementing the Outline of the National Medium-and Long-Term Education Reform and Development Plan(2010-2020).At present,universities at home and abroad all have carried out a series of explorations and attempts about college students’ participation in the democratic management of universities and have made progress in stages,such as "student council" and "student hearing" and so on.In recent years,Jiangxi Province has proposed to develop a strong provincial education strategy,including emphasizing that teachers and students should perform their roles well and contribute to the development of school.It is even more necessary to implement college students in the democratic management of universities to cultivate the sense of ownership and ability of the college students.Finally,it can promote the orderly and healthy development of universities.Therefore,this study selects three universities in Jiangxi Province.By combing the existing research results at home and abroad,based on the participatory management,subjective education concept,and the theory of planned behavior,data is collected on 600 valid questionnaires obtained from the survey.After the treatment,the students’ actual experience and the status quo problem are fully understood.The descriptive analysis,the difference analysis and the structural equation analysis are used to obtain the corresponding research conclusions,and the research countermeasures are proposed in a targeted manner.The results show:the overall cognitive level of students’ participation in democratic management is not high,the concept consciousness needs to be improved;the level of participation is low,and the effect needs to be strengthened;there are differences between the learning stage,political appearance and individual variables of college students;the theory of planned behavior can effectively explainIt also predicts the participation of students in the democratic management behavior of universities;the perception behavior control has a great influence on students’ participation in the democratic management behavior of colleges and universities.Based on the above conclusions,this study proposes four countermeasures:improving ability and awareness,cultivating students’ participation in motivational mechanism;transforming culture and concepts,creating students’ participation in democratic atmosphere;updating channels,improving students’ participation and introduction mechanism;providing support and supply,and establishing safeguard mechanism for students’ participation.
