Abstract/Summary:
Higher vocational colleges shoulder the responsibility of training high-quality technical and technical personnel.As the main human resources of higher vocational colleges,the work performance affects the talent cultivation and overall education quality of higher vocational colleges,the stability of teachers determines the sustainable development of higher vocational colleges.However,the completion of teachers’ work performance,the play of their potential,the improvement of their creativity and the stability of the teaching staff are directly affected by their job satisfaction.Therefore,it plays an important role in improving the quality of higher vocatio nal education,promoting the sustainable development of higher vocational colleges and increasing the competitiveness of higher vocational colleges to study the job satisfaction of higher vocational teachers and improve their job satisfaction.Through literature research,based on the relevant research results,this study builds the satisfaction evaluation index system.,and combining with the work characteristics of higher vocational teachers,the author designed the "questionnaire for assessing the job satisfaction of teachers in higher vocational colleges",and has carried on the questionnaire survey in 5 different levels of development higher vocational colleges in Jiangxi Province.Used description statistics to analyze the basic situation of higher vocational teachers’ job satisfaction.Used variance analysis to analyze whether the demographic variables influence on teachers’ job satisfaction,such as gender,working years,educational background,professional title,position,teaching and research areas.Used regression analysis to analyze the influence factors of teachers’ overall job satisfaction.The following conclusions are drawn:(1)The overall job satisfaction of higher vocational teachers is relatively good;(2)Gender,teaching and research fields have no significant influence on job satisfaction of higher vocational teachers.However,working years educational background,professional title and position have significant influence;(3)The overall satisfaction degree of higher vocational teachers depends on leadership and management,career development,salary and welfare,and work environment,but has no significant correlation with work itself,interpersonal relationship,self-realization and social recognition.And the influence from largest to the smallest is: Leadership and management,career development,salary and welfare,work environment,social recognition,self-realization,work itself,interpersonal relationshipTo improve the job satisfaction of teachers in higher vocational colleges,the author put forward the following suggestions: Pay attention to improve the leadership and management level;Actively promote career development;Build a competitive compensation system;Pay attention to create a good working environment.
