In recent years,with the development of tourism economy,the number of foreign tourists visit Guangdong has been in first place in China by years.The demand for Tourism English talents in the market continues to expand.At the same time,the shortage of those talents in this field is becoming larger than before.In our country,almost none of the colleges and universities have set up this major,and as the specialized training of Tourism English talents,there are many kinds of problems in the cultivation of this major in higher vocational colleges.As higher vocational college,Whether professional education is suitable and generally accepted by students is related to ensuring the loyalty of this major.As the direct beneficiary of professional education,the degree of professional satisfaction of students is the direct feedback to the effect of this major education.Therefore,it is necessary to study the satisfaction of tourism English major in higher vocational education,but at present,there is no unified standard in the study of the influencing factors of major satisfaction in our country,and There is no authoritative view on the relationship between the influencing factors,either.So this paper discusses the relationship between the influencing factors by studying the influencing factors of tourism English major satisfaction in higher vocational education,so as to put forward the management enlightenment corresponding to all aspects of major construction.This paper has constructed the satisfaction evaluation questionnaire of Tourism English major in higher vocational education based on the classical customer satisfaction theory and the related theory of higher vocational college students’ major satisfaction,combining with the characteristics of Tourism English major.To investigate the major satisfaction degree,four hundred and sixteen tourism English students from 4 schools were selected.The paper investigates it from seven dimensions: major image,expectation,curriculum design,educational software and hardware,students’ perceived value,employment confidence,loyalty,and so on.This paper attempts to find out the relationship of influences in major satisfaction,and try to provides the basis for improving the Tourism English education.The research shows that the degree of satisfaction of Tourism English major is in the middle level.The satisfaction degree of the major varies with the gender.The satisfaction degree of the female students is slightly higher than that of the male students.Major selection has a great influence on the satisfaction degree.Among the seven dimensions,major image infects expectation,major image,expectation,curriculum design,and educational software and hardware infect students’ perceived value,students’ perceived value and employment confidence infect major satisfaction,major satisfaction,infects loyalty at the end.In the meanwhile,students’ perceived value and employment confidence have the greatest impact on the major satisfaction,while the curriculum design and professional hardware and software has the greatest impact on the students’ perceived value relative to the educational hardware and software.According to those,the author puts forward some suggestions on how to improve the education of Tourism English major in higher vocational colleges.
