Education is pursued by human development,and human development is aimed at a healthy life.Adolescents are at a critical period of physical and mental growth and development,and the complexity and diversity of their health problems have gradually attracted widespread attention from international organizations,governments and the general public.School health education and health promotion play an increasingly important role in improving adolescent health literacy and the quality of life.With the rapid development of global network communication technologies,modern information technologies such as new media,cloud computing,Internet of Things,and intelligent terminals provide more choices for improving the health of young people.In view of the threats that information technology poses to young people’s physical and mental health,this research from a positive perspective highlights the positive and practical significance of information technology in promoting the healthy development of adolescents,promoting the reform of school health education,and promoting the realization of individual health rights.Firstly,this study examines the research significance,research progress and related concepts and theoretical basis of IT to promote the development of adolescent health literacy.Secondly,the application of hybrid research methods is used to analyze the status quo and performance characteristics of adolescent health literacy in the information age,to explore the use of mobile terminals,households’ software and hardware resources,and school health promotion based on new generation IT.The main realistic path of IT such as education,communication and service to promote the development of adolescent health literacy.Finally,combined with the theory of health literacy,PRECEDE-PROCEED health promotion theory and the theory health behavior change,and drawing on the useful practical experience of IT to promote healthy development,systematically put forward strategies to strengthen IT to promote the development of adolescents’ health literacy.The study found that IT has a significant role in promoting the development of adolescents’ health literacy.The impact of family and school network environment on adolescent functional health literacy is significant.The level of adolescent information literacy determines the level of functional health literacy,interactivity and critical health literacy,and the two are moderately positively correlated.In addition,the school has used a new generation of IT to effectively promote the development of adolescents’ health literacy in health education,health communication and health services.At present,the holding rate of youth mobile devices is not high,the professionalism of school health education resources is insufficient,the lack of targeted media health communication,and the under-utilization of information health services are the main factors affecting the development of IT to promote adolescents’ health literacy problem.In the future,we should adhere to the combination ofempowerment and empowerment,the simultaneous application of technology and application,the co-construction and sharing of home-schools,and the principle of balanced development between urban and rural areas,strengthening the construction of healthy resources,enriching the form of health services,and enhancing Health communication function,constantly improve the norms of school information technology health promotion,and ultimately achieve the healthy development of adolescents and the success of future education.
