The new curriculum reform puts forward three basic concepts: focusing on students' development,emphasizing teachers' growth and thinking highly of teaching by learning.Under such background,teachers should construct a new teaching pattern in the classroom and change the traditional teaching mode of "Duck-stuffing" and "acceptable training".As a new teaching method,the situational teaching can effectively stimulate students' interest and motivate students' enthusiasm for learning,can make students internalize knowledge much better.It is favored by many teachers and widely used in teaching.First,this paper will elaborate on its evolution process,basic characteristics and basic steps by reviewing the existing theory of situational teaching method.Then,the writer would analyze the importance and necessity of using situational teaching method in the teaching Economic Life,which is a compulsory textbook for senior high school's ideological politics class.Taking a city No.S Middle School as an example,the writer explored the existing problems in the actual teaching through interviews and questionnaires.Adhering to the principle of improving inadequacy and enhancing effectiveness of situational teaching method in classroom,the writer reconstructed the process of situational teaching method from preparation,teaching and consolidation after class.Finally,combined with own teaching practice,the writer made fully analysis and summarization.The innovation of this paper is to construct a complete process of situational teaching method.There are three aspects account for it: the preparation before class,application during the class and development after class.It didn't just aim at a certain point in the teaching step,but compared with the theory and practice,which make the application of situational teaching method in classroom achieve best optimization.
