Content:Quality-oriented education pays close attention to all-round development of human being and attaches importance to cultivation of student's initiative spirit and practical ability.The new curriculum reform demands teachers to combine theoretical knowledge with practical life based on students' life experience in their process of teaching.Under the new curriculum standard,the fundamental philosophy of teaching ideological and political course should put more emphasis on practicalness and openness of teaching process,highlight the life-style teaching,and be student-based.It should manifest humanity,sense of life,practicalness and openness of class,attach more importance to combining disciplinary knowledge with theme of life,and try to integrate the basic concept and theory into theme of life.In addition,by concentrating on social and life problems that are concerned by students,it organizes teaching activity and fully implement objective of curriculum.Under such background,Situational Teaching Method attracts more and more attention of education researchers.Situational Teaching Method integrates the abstract theoretical knowledge into vivid situation through creating vivid,lively and specific scene so as to stimulate student's learning interest and emotional resonance and optimize the teaching result.Compared with the traditional “Duck-stuffing” type of teaching,the Situational Teaching Method has effectively changed the tendency of “emphasizing result;ignoring process”,“emphasizing acceptance;ignoring exploration”,“emphasizing theory,ignoring practice”,“emphasizing infusion,ignoring share”.Student becomes “alive” and "active" in the ideological and political class.It not only can better reflect the new curriculum concept which is based on development of students but also improve degree of participation of students and stand out student's dominant position.As it were,Situational Teaching has opened up a new world for ideological and political education.Economic life,as the first content learned by senior high school students in ideological and political course,its teaching effect may directly affect student's interest in learning ideological and political course in the stage of senior high school.Meanwhile,Economic life education undertakes the mission of cultivating economic accomplishment,economic consciousness,and legal concept and so on for qualified modern citizens as well as help students to develop socialist economy ideology,sense of competition,consciousness of equivalent exchange,consciousness of reform and opening up,awareness of taking economy construction as the center,awareness of comprehensive,harmonious and sustainable development,consciousness of harmonious development between human and nature and correct consumption consciousness.Therefore,learning economic life course well has great significance in improving teaching effectiveness.For high school freshmen who have never contacted the Marxist Political Economics,there is no doubt that the economic theoretical knowledge is hard to understand.The application of Situational Teaching Method makes full combination of students' cognitive development degree and characteristics of social diversity.Through the effective context created by teachers,students are put into life situation.Through independence,cooperation and exploration,students are given chance to experience,feel,think about,distinguish and seek answers,clarify concept,understand knowledge so that students' hearts get touched.They are motivated to reflect on economic life.They develop strong interests in Political and Economics Course of senior high school;improve their cognition degree of economy and practical ability to participate in economic life so as to optimize classroom teaching and improve teaching efficiency.At present,as being affected by numerous factors such as present educational system,society,school,faculty,quality of students,operation method and so on,there are some practical problems existing in process of applying situational teaching method in economic life teaching,which has influenced the teaching effect.Therefore,through research and focus on this subject,it tries to explore a path to make effective application of Situational Teaching Method to give good economic life lesson in practice.Main body of the paper is divided into three parts,outline of each part is as follows:The first part: relevant theory.The second part,existing problems of Situational Teaching Method in process of economic life teaching,first of all,the problems and their manifestation frequently occurring in application of situational teaching method in economic life teaching are listed.Secondly,the reasons for appearing of various problems are analyzed and investigated,for instance,social environmental factor and school management,individual teacher,students themselves etc.The third part,proposing countermeasures to problem,first of all,in perspective of society,the competent educational administrative department should strengthen the understanding of importance of ideological and political course,intensify the policy guidance.Next,in perspective of school management,it starts from the class hour arrangement,teacher arrangement,policy direction of Visiting and Evaluating class,School's evaluation mechanism on teachers for ideological and political course to improve the original practice of “emphasizing result,ignoring process”.Furthermore,in perspective of teacher and student,it tries to enhance teacher's quality and level of professional knowledge,improve student's learning attitude and optimize learning environment.By adopting document research,action research,educational survey and case study etc,this paper researches on present condition,existing problems and countermeasures of application of Situational Teaching Method in Economic Life teaching to promote improvement of teacher's classroom teaching behavior,optimize teaching process,give full play to peculiar functional superiority of Situational Teaching Method,comprehensively realize the curriculum objectives,improve teaching quality,increase the effectiveness of moral education function of Ideological and Political Course in senior high school so as to provide certain theoretical reference for the general high school teachers to make specific application of Situational Teaching Method in their Economic Life teaching process.Aiming at the several problems existing in application of Situational Teaching Method,it provides some improvement strategy for reference from theoretical perspective.
