A new round of curriculum reform in the field of basic education in China is steadily advancing,in which the all-round development of students has been paid more and more attention.As an important national course offered by ordinary high schools,high school ideological and political education plays a very important role in cultivating students’world outlook,outlook on life and values.The ideological and political course in senior high school has the value-leading function.It can help students improve their ideological and political and moral qualities and promote their all-round development through value-leading.Choosing the value-leading function of high school ideological and political course as the research topic is mainly based on the following considerations:Firstly,the deepening of basic education reform,the comprehensive development of students has been paid more and more attention.Thus we paying attention to the value-leading function of the course,helping students achieve comprehensive development,conform to the trend of educational reform.Secondly,at present,the value-leading function of the course has not been fully developed,which requires researchers to continue to study.Finally,as a front-line high school political teacher,the author has a deep interest in this topic in teaching practice,and hopes to make some research results combined with her own teaching practice.The article mainly includes the following parts:The first part is about the value-leading function of high school ideological and political course and the necessity of its realization.In this part,the author first defines the relevant concepts,including value,values,value-leading,value-leading function of high school ideological and political course.The core concept value-leading in this paper refers to educators leading educatees to form correct value cognition,make correct value judgment and make correct value choice.The value-leading function of high school ideological and political course refers to the role and effect of high school ideological and political course in guiding students’value.This part also explores the necessity of realizing the value-leading function of the course from the perspectives of embodying the nature of ideological and political course,cultivating and practicing socialist core values,promoting the healthy growth and overall development of senior high school students.The second part is about the current realization situation of the value-leading function.Firstly,through questionnaires and case interviews,this paper understands the overall situation of the realization of the value-leading function of the course.Then it summarizes several main problems in the process of value-leading:first,the design of part of the content deviates from students’cognitive level;second,the scope of value-leading is limited to classroom teaching;third,the form of value-leading is relatively single;fourth,the actual effect of value-leading is far from the expected effect.After that,this paper also analyses the main reasons for the problems from the background of the times,social environment,schools,teachers and students.The third part is about the main countermeasures to improve the effect of the value-leading function of the course.This study puts forward countermeasures from three aspects:first,to conform to the trend of the times and optimize the social environment;second,schools provide necessary support;third,to improve the quality of teachers.
