Art students refer to the high school students that need to participate in both general college entrance examination and art college entrance examination.Taking art students as study objects,this article proposed the PBL teaching model that meet the mathematics development requirements of art students,combining with the mathematics key competence requirements of new curriculum standard,and the features of weaker mathematics foundation and less time of mathematics classes for art students.The writer has done the practice research of PBL teaching model for a semester at teaching class and write this paper with research result.With document analysis method,the writer discussed the learning conditions of art students in details,analyzed various teaching models of art students' mathematics at current stage,and came up with the PBL teaching model that meet the mathematics development requirements of art students.PBL is a teaching model that established for design and organizing education,which advocate to drive student to think with questions and make students be the object of study.It requires teachers to set reasonable questions for guiding students to think independently,work with team members and communicate assessment,and finally extract theoretical knowledge,as well as establish a thinking process to solve self practical problems.This article also stands on the the constructive and humanism perspectives to analyze the theoretical basis of PBL teaching model,conclude the design philosophy of PBL teaching model in high school education practice,and translate an overseas PBL teaching design case for reference.The third part of this this article used empirical approach to discuss the specific strategy of the writer's PBL teaching model practice.It also took the teaching design of the basic inequality less as example to explain the design method and principle of PBL teaching model.The fourth part of this article made evaluation of PBL teaching model's education result from two sides.he first one is to compare the initial examination and final examination,and the second one is to do questionnaires before PBL teaching practice and after PBL teaching practice and do difference tests for these two datas.The teaching result evaluation questionnaires measure the effectiveness of PBL teaching model from four dimensions:"the evaluation of students for teaching model","cognitive development of students","change of students'learning motivation" and "confidence and sense of achievement".The cronbach of each dimension were all over 0.7.and passed the inspection of reliability and validity and did data analysis.The fifth part of this article gave the conclusion:after a semester's practice of PBL teaching model,the students' mathematics results,mathematics learning and cognitive,learning motivation,confidence and sense of achievements,and their evaluation for teaching model all improved significantly.At last,the article proposed suggestions for teachers in PBL teaching model practice,like improving self quality and paying attention to students ' learning condition.Besides,it analyzed the innovation point and disadvantage of this research.
