Physics is a subject based on experiments,and its development is inseparable from experiments.Physics experiment teaching is also indispensable in physics teaching.After the implementation of the new curriculum standards in 2011,it was clearly proposed that junior high school physics should take improving students'scientific literacy as the overall idea and let students experience the process of experimental inquiry.This is because the process of experimental inquiry helps to develop students'abilities of practice and solving problems.Therefore,the number of experiments in the textbook has increased a lot compared with the ones in the past,and the columns of students' activities such as family laboratory have been added.But in fact,the experiment teaching of junior high school physics has not reached the level which the new curriculum requests.By doing some questionnaire survey from students and interviewing teachers,it is found that many textbook experiments are difficult to be successful in the process of experimental operation,which leads to the teacher's demonstration experiments instead of grouping students in class.Some experiments in the textbook are out of touch with the real teaching environment and are forced to give up because they cannot draw proper conclusions.The reasons are as follows:teachers are short of experimental teaching resources,lack of experimental teaching materials,lack of interest in experiments,and seldom guide students to carry out after-class experiments.In order to optimize the physics experiment in junior high school and implement the new curriculum idea,how to take practice is the focus of this paper.This paper makes a statistical analysis of the demonstration experiment,in-class experiment,group exploration experiment,fun experiment and expansion experiment in the physics textbook for junior high school.Then,through the investigation and research,the author learns the current situation of junior high school physics experiments,and summarizes some difficult experiments,analyzes the reasons for these difficulties of experiments.Then through the author several years of teaching experience accumulation,teaching and research academic activities and literature review for several years,the author summed up some operational optimization strategies.Such as,optimizing experimental materials based on living resources,improving experiment methods to optimize experiments,using information technology to improve experiments,and developing some second experiments based on the teaching material.After that,these strategies are applied to the physical experiment teaching practice through the experiment teaching activities,and the author enumerates some cases.
