Researching the teaching of classical poetry,“Imago” can be a very good entry point.Those classical poetry having passed through the ages up to now are composed of countless imagines that are diverse and intriguing.The realm of classical poetry is actually the world of imagines.Among the limitless imagines abundant and brilliant,however,nature-imago is the hugest one in the amount compared to imagines of social life and body imagines,therefore,during the teaching process of classical poetry in Junior Middle School,natural imageries should be paid more attention on by the teachers and students,having their esthetic value and culture-inheritance value embodied thoroughly in the appreciation process of the classical poetry through effective teaching strategies of natural imageries.This thesis,on the whole,is based on the Chinese textbooks compiled by the Ministry of Education,unfolding the discussion on natural imagines.The natural imagines contained in the classical poetry from Junior Middle School have been categorized and listed in the first chapter through documentary method and statistical method,meanwhile,the connotation of some typical imagines have been analyzed and explained.Natural imageries have been divided into three categories of astronomy,plant and animal in this thesis.The problems existing in the teaching of natural imageries in classical poetry in Junior Middle School have been talked about and the causes resulting in the problems have been analyzed in the second chapter with reference to my educational and teaching practice mainly.Two issues exist in the teaching of natural imagines in the classical poetry in Junior Middle School——Ignoring or focusing less on imagines;Paying great attention on imagines while neglecting the relations of imagines and artistic conceptions,or,imagines and the poetry itself.However,the main reasons leading to those issues that exist in the nature-imago teaching of the classical poetry in Junior Middle School are the “baton of examination”;The educational and teaching concept of many Chinese teachers cannot be kept pace with the times,and the level of literature acquirement is not high enough;The cultural aesthetics in the whole society tend to go with the tide.Some strategies that are based on the author's Chinese-teaching practice have been put forward to help the teaching of natural imagines in the classical poetry in Junior Middle School.In this chapter,against the problems mentioned above and their causes,firstly,some suggestions for the Chinese teachers have been come up with——Changing the educational and teaching concepts;Enriching the knowledge-reserve and improving the cultural deposits;Combining the imagines,artistic conceptions and emotions etc.in the teaching of classical poetry.Secondly,having explored some teaching strategies of natural imagines in the classical poetry in Junior Middle School,including "experiencing the beauty of natural of imagines by reading aloud”,“Filling up the artistic gap through association and imagination”,“Conducting teaching activities exclusive to natural imagines” etc.
