Curriculum is the core of the higher education.The study of curriculum is still a weak link for the present research on Chinese higher education.For the study of curriculum,researchers should insist on the principle of case by case because different subject has different ways of curriculum setting.As a major of interdisciplinary nature,Communication has been changing rapidly in course of the continuous rise of science and technology.In the development of various emerging technologies,contemporary communication is constantly interacting with other technologies and industries.Because of the rise of technology,not only the increase of communication and the interactivity of technology,but also greatly improved the diversity of media.Based on these,the transmission environment is including online community,social media,user generated content,crowdsourcing,big data and data analysis of the spread of the environment,and requirements based on the technology spread more likely.In such a large communication atmosphere,the communication environment is more complex,the spread diversity index is increasing,and in the continuous demand communication major can provide enough talented people.But China's communication studies the existence of graduate education is still in the dependence on journalism,subject classification is not clear,the talent training is still in groping stage.QS rankings top 7 colleges and universities in North America,the author of this paper communication graduate subjects is analyzed,according to communication subject setting and curriculum to make all-round analysis,through more than 7 colleges and universities subject setting to interdisciplinary analysis,as the key to reach North America's top colleges and universities communication talent trend analysis and development trend of communication possible.Chinese journalism education has always learned from American since it since point,and formed certain of advantages up to now.Compared with American journalism education,China still has a long way to go.
