In today’s era, the focus of social competition is gradually transformed into innovation ability, talent, education and so on, the importance of applied talents is gradually emerging, which has become an important part of national economic development. Sports dance as a set of sports, dance, music in one of the emerging disciplines, the development of broad prospects, it’s unique artistic features in line with the needs of modern society for the application of talent. Since the beginning of 2001, many colleges and universities in China have set up Dance Majors(sports dance direction). In view of the current situation, sports dance talent demand specifications than ever happened great changes, in the past, the development of the teaching content has not been a good fit in with the needs of the development of today’s society and culture can’t be better out to meet the social needs of sports dance talent, for various sports colleges and the current top priority is how to combine the current social situation, update and improve the existing teaching content, methods and training goal. Therefore, it is a hot topic to study how to cultivate talents and improve the training of talents and improve the training of talents in the field of sports dance.This paper mainly to open dance sport specialized course of five sports colleges and sports dance application type talents training curriculum as the main object of study, using the questionnaire survey method, literature data method, interview method, comparative analysis method, mathematical statistics method and so on many kinds of research methods of sports colleges and universities sports dance professional talent training objectives and requirements, curriculum teaching system set up to carry on the analysis in this paper, draw the following conclusions in this paper, using a variety of research methods, carefully analyses the five sports colleges at home on the curriculum, the characteristics of the specific conclusions are as follows:1. Five sports colleges of sports dance talent cultivation goal focus is not prominent, the colleges and universities training objectives are similar, not a clear reflect various colleges and universities dance specialty.2. Sports colleges and sports dance curriculum setting in majoring in curriculum is single and between the physical education curriculum lack contrast, in sports dance, aerobics gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics as a professional sports dance majors.3. The proportion of compulsory courses in five institutes of physical education is higher, and the proportion of elective courses is less. 4. Combining with the social demand for sports dance professionals and formulate reasonable sports dance curriculum, meet the demand of talent market, cultivate applied talents of mastering many skills while specializing in one.4. Combined with social demand, for the sports dance professionals develop reasonable sports dance curriculum setting, talent to meet the market needs, to cultivate applied talents with "expert". Recommendations:1. In China, sports colleges and universities talent training objectives should be combined with the applied talents training objectives to formulate and implement, should pay attention to cultivate dance innovation, planning ability, broaden their knowledge, should not be confined to a single dance learning, to improve their own quality, strengthen their own moral self-cultivation.2. Should increase the proportion of professional and technical courses, combined with the theory of dance knowledge, broaden the students’ knowledge, promote students’ practical ability and technical ability.3. In the existing major professional should be in the development of new major courses, combined with other art courses will be conducive to the use of sports dance elements of which, to complement each other.4. To develop sports dance courses, of which a large increase in the practice course and class number will increase the required professional class number appropriately, the optimization of specialty basic courses, in the course of the number and content of taking into account the needs of society and students. Make reasonable proportion in teaching content and course time.
