Independent reading ability is related to a person's comprehensive quality,what it refers to is not only the ability of reading,but also the ability of learners to conduct their learning activities.As an independent and autonomous activity,independent reading is not only an expression of learners'ability to learn independently,but also a way of enriching knowledge,expanding the field of vision and improving the comprehensive quality.In this research,using questionnaires,interviews and other research methods,taking Fuzhou F Primary School as the main research object,from the independent reading attitude,time and quantity,content,reading source,problems,reading environment,self-evaluation and other aspects,attempting to objectively and comprehensively reflect the current situation of primary school students' independent reading.The results of the survey show that there are such problems in middle and high grade students'independent reading,such as the obvious contrast between reading and reading behavior,lack of reading quantity,lack of strategy in reading activities and poor reading environment.To solve these problems,In reading attitudes,strengthen students'positive reading experience and improve the students' reading interest;In reading environment,we should create a strong reading environment and provide a positive reading environment;In reading guidance,strengthen the independent reading strategy instruction,develop good reading habits.It is hoped that this research can inspire people to think deeply about reading,and provide reference information for improving the quality of students' independent reading.
