The Internet has extended into every corner of the world,affecting all aspects of our lives.As a new form of teaching,micro-courses have entered out classroom.Micro-courses have many advantages such as more targeted teaching content,more convenient access,more abundant resources,and more flexible feedback system.The emergence of micro-courses has provided a new model for teaching and learning,and provided a new approach to promote efficient learning.Therefore,the research on micro-course construction and utilization will facilitate improvement of the teaching.This paper includes the following seven parts:Chapter 1: it elaborates the background,research purpose and research significance of the issue,and determines the research methods.Chapter 2: it studies the concept,characteristics and application of physics micro-courses in detail,and expounds the theoretical basis and design principles of physics micro-courses.Chapter 3: it analyzes the exceptional conditions and advantages of physics as a natural science in the application of micro-courses,and studies the corresponding types of micro-courses for different course contents.Chapter 4: it investigates the current application of micro-courses in the school,and designs questionnaires of teachers and students respectively.Then it analyzes the prominent problems in the application of micro-courses through the questionnaire results.Chapter 5: it uses the course contents from PEP edition physics as examples,taking sections from the chapters of Mechanical Vibration and The Law of Energy Conservation to design teaching plans for pre-course,in-course and after-course.It analyzes and evaluates the implementation effect by comparing the average scores of monthly tests.The results showthat the scores excellent rate is improved,and the total number of excellent scores and good scores is increased,which presents a significant effect of micro-courses on improving learning performance.Chapter 6: it proposes a few suggestions for the application and promotion of micro-courses,and hopes to be beneficial to teachers' teaching practices,so that the micro-courses can be applied to maximized function.Chapter 7: after practicing the modified micro-courses follow the suggestions above,the previous application of the micro-courses in the school has been improved,but for some problems,it still requires teachers' efforts.The research in this paper also has some deficiencies,which are summarized here.And it also makes an expectation for the broaden application of the micro-courses.This research in this paper has the following conclusions: Use micro-course in the pre-course session can stimulate learning enthusiasm of students.Students can clarify their learning tasks and prepare lessons before the course to understand the key learning content in the classroom.Use the micro-course to play videos of scientific knowledge in the classroom can enrich the teaching content and let the students appreciate the marvelous physical phenomenon,cultivating their curiosity.Moreover,by playing videos of experimental demonstration can avoid delayed teaching process due to operational error or the unobvious experimental result.The micro-course is the most popular studying approach well received by the students.Whether it is an explanation of the question,a inductive summary,or a lecture,the students can consciously use the micro-course to improve their deficiencies,and sometimes proactively ask the teacher for a micro-course of specific knowledge point.In general,the application of micro-courses are effective to the teaching,it can stimulate students' learning enthusiasm,improve students' self-learning ability,and enable students to make certain progress.
