China is a country of poetry and has a long tradition of poetry education.Confucius believed that the cultivation of talented people "thrives in poetry,stands in ritual and becomes happy",pointed out that poetry has the educational function of "thriving outlook and group resentment",and put forward "no learning poetry,no words".Modern poetry is an important part of Chinese teaching in senior high schools,and it is an artistic model of inheriting classical and integrating modern.Modern Chinese poetry borrows from other Western literature and art,and presents a sense of artistic beauty that integrates Chinese and Western literature.Modern poetry,as an artistic form with strong self-expression,fully endows poets with the possibility of freely expressing their feelings and pursuing their individual expression.It is a rare aesthetic art and literary style.After the May 4th Movement,modern poetry began its own process,showing a break with classical poetry from content to form.Inborn deficiencies,acquired dysplasia,the avoidance of the baton in the college entrance examination,and the inadequacy of teachers' researching on the theory and teaching methods of modern poetry constitute the reasons why modern poetry is increasingly marginalized in language teaching,students are not interested in modern poetry,and modern poetry learning is at the shallow level.The issue of how to conduct "deeper learning" has aroused great concern among learners and study groups.The concept of "deeper learning" is mainly used in the field of artificial intelligence and education,while the term "deeper learning" is first used in the field of artificial intelligence.Deeper learning is a complete,rich and profound learning of valuable learning content,which originates from students' internal motivation.Its goal is to stimulate students' learning initiative,and promote the development of students' critical understanding ability,knowledge integration ability,reflective ability and higher-order thinking ability characterized by analysis,evaluation,creation and application.The author believes that the teaching of modern poetry in senior high school needs to improve the current teaching situation and improve the teaching effect under the guidance of deeper learning theory.This paper consists of four parts: the first part: introduction.This paper expounds the research background,purpose and significance,research summary,research content,research ideas and methods.The second part: the theoretical basis and realizing conditions of senior high school students' deeper learning of modern poetry.Based on the study of deeper learning and modern poetry theory,this paper explores the relationship between deeper learning theory and modern poetry teaching in senior high school,and clarifies the value of deeper learning theory to modern poetry teaching in senior high school.At the same time,it is clear that the conditions for deeper learning at the whole.Firstly,teachers need professional knowledge reserve to provide scientific guidance for students to learn modern poetry.Secondly,in-depth study of modern poetry needs to create a reasonable situation.Thirdly,students need to play their subjective initiative and devote themselves to learning efficiently.The third part: promoting senior high school students to learn modern poetry teaching methods in depth.The goal of the preparatory stage is to create situations and stimulate students' initiative.It is necessary to clarify the teaching objectives,pre-evaluate and create classroom situations.The goal of the teaching stage is to cultivate the students' ability of deeper learning and to improve their language ability.It is necessary to improve students' ability of higher-order thinking and knowledge transfer and integration by learning the language,image and emotion of poetry.The goal of the evaluation stage is to improve students' critical reflective ability.It is necessary to combine various evaluation methods in every link of the classroom.The fourth part: the significance and limitations of deeper learning based on modern poetry teaching high school.According to the research,it is concluded that under the guidance of deeper learning theory,it is of great significance to modern poetry teaching and even Chinese teaching in senior high schools.At the same time,according to the actual teaching situation,the limitations of this study are explained.
